This is most probably the best spot in Soho. You are in the middle of everything: steps from eclectic Chinatown and Nolita with small boutiques and restaurants. At the same time you are in Soho with high end stores and all entertainment you need. The apartment is located on Kenmare Square with the hippest bars and restaurants. There is a small park in front of the building. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. To get to the bathroom you need to go through one of the bedrooms - please consider this. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice living room. Wireless Internet, Aircondition etc.. There is original art from my gallery on the walls. If you stay at our apartment you will get the best of Downtown NY. Also you are 1/2 block from the green 6 subway on Spring Street. Starbucks is also 1/2 block so fresh coffee is no problem.
Soho is probably one of the best shopping areas in the world with a beautiful and authentic architecture. At the same time you are steps from more eclectic neighborhoods like Lower Eats Side and China Town. From the location you can basically walk anywhere in Downtown.
All major Subways are close - the green line is 20 seconds from the apt.
We newly renovated the apartment all we ask treat it like your own. No parties without checking with us before - of course you can have dinner parties. We do have valuable original artwork on the wall as well as some designer furniture please respect it. Garbage has to be put out in black bags Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays in front of building after 6 pm.
This apartment is in an excellent location - in the heart of Soho close to everything. great restaurants and shops all close by. Typical of New York apartments it is cozy but enough room for four people. Beds were very comfortable. Our host provided an air mattress which was helpful. Again, typical of an older New York building it has its idiosyncrasies related to heat regulation (but it was a bitterly cold weekend) and hot water pipes that made their presence known.
Me and my wife had a great experience.
It was perfect location wise.
Arne was there to meet us and show us how everything worked and directed us to all his favourite places nearby. My only problem was that the internet was very sluggish.
It didn't really work regarding Netflix!
That's only a minor detail as we spent most of the time outdoors.
I would definitely stay again.
We were a party of four ladies staying for five nights in January 2015. We were very pleased with the apartment. Perfect location, clean and convenient. And Arne was a perfect host. He was easy to get in contact with whenever we needed. Eager to be in contact as soon as we had landed at the Airport. We can warmly recommend Arne and this residence.
Great location, subway right there which gives easy access to uptown. The photos show the apartment exactly which is great. Very easy to communicate with Arne who is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Arne was friendly and welcoming - although late in meeting us and we could not contact him because his phone was out of battery. The entry to apartment is quite dingy - and dank.
The 2 Bedroom-Apartment was really perfect situated! You're in the centre of busy Manhattan between Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. Several subway stations are nearby and it's great to walk around, eating and shopping in the neighborhood. The apartment was exactly like the description: clean, spacious, second floor only ;) , surprisingly calm (!) and good beds to sleep very comfortably. I totally can recommend this flat as well as Arne as host who organized everything perfectly! I will come back :)

I am German but at the same time a New Yorker after living more then 10 years here. I am married with Kathie and we have two small daughters - which keep us busy. I do own Pablo's Birthday Gallery (Gallery for Contemporary Art) in NYC which is in my opinion the most exciting city in the world.
