All the best,
Hi! Me and my daughter had a great time at Michael's apt. It is cozy, warm, its kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook any meal and it is really well located. I loved staying there instead of Manhattan, because I had the chance to know a nice neighborhood, full of restaurants, shops and life. What you need to know is that despite being a short subway ride to get to Manhattan it will add 25 mins to get to central park or 40 mins to get to downtown. And that is if the trains are functioning OK. For me it wasn't a problem, but if you don't have much time it might be worth considering. Another little problem is that the apt is in the front so you will hear street noise. It is not really bad, and I think if you are a heavy sleeper you won't even notice. After spending quite a few days here I can fully recommend Michael and his apt. Good travels!

We had a great stay In this very pleasant apartment. It was completely comfortable, and everything we needed had been thoughtfully provided. Michael was great at communicating in advance and checking in after we arrived. We had not used airbnb before, but we're sold after this experience.

My first airbnb experience was with Michael in February 2014 when my Dad and I visited NYC to see my brother in a show. Michael's quick and welcoming correspondence was much appreciated, his home was lovely, his directions and advice helpful, and his bedroom bright and cheery. He kindly left some breakfast snacks to get our morning started right. His location is great allowing us to "eat our way up Broadway" sampling many types of food. When we next visit Astoria we'll check to see if you're available. Thanks, Michael!
Michael was very accomodating ,communicative, nice, with a kind smile))) His place is the same as pictures show, very clean and there you can find everything what you need! The district is very safe, Astoria- one of the famouse districts in NY, CLOSE TO THE SUBWAY(JUST 3 -4 MIN BY WALK) and 12 min to Manhattan! The subway is Q or N train 30th Ave station! I recommend Michael's app!Thank you, Michael!Nice to meet you!!!
We spent the wonderful time in Michael's appartment. Everything was fine, like it was announced on the site. Very comfortable appartment with good location: very close to subway(trains Q, N) and to the different restaurants. Michael is a very hospitable host, he was so kind to leave some yogurts and cofe for us. We are very grateful to Michael. Will recomend to my friends.
Michael a very good host! He is helpful and responsive. Apartment located in lovely district. It is nice and comfy!
I booked this apartment for my mom while she was in town for 5 days. It is exactly as pictured and as described. The apartment was very clean and welcoming, and Michael even texted a couple times during the reservation to make sure everything was going well. All of my communication with Michael was pleasant and he always responded quickly. The street the apartment is located on is pretty busy and can be a little noisy but we didn't have problems sleeping at night. It's close to the subway and restaurants and is well worth the money spent, you get so much more than what a NYC hotel room offers for a fraction of the price. I will definitely recommend this to other guests I have visiting!
I had a great time and Mike's place worked out well for me. It was an easy walk to the subway and I slept really well. I would definitely do it again.
