  • We were enchanted with this apartment. We chose it for the location, and that was great. But our favorite things about the apartment were the wonderful views, and being able to rest weary legs in a hot bat. We ate simple breakfasts and lunches there, and the kitchen is really well equipped for cooking. Could not master the dishwasher, but that may have been my fault, and in any case we didn't really need it.Luca left a list of restaurants, many of which we tried and liked, and he offered to make reservations for us, although since it was winter, and we eat early, it turned out not to be necessary.Highly recommended.

  • Enjoyed six wonderful days in this beautifully located, unique apartment. Plenty of space. Stunning views from bedroom and lounge. Lucca and Giuio were very friendly and helped us with any requests. Very close to attractions and shops - walked everywhere. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

  • Good value overall - but not as good as the pictures. From the photos we expected the apartment to be bright, light, spacious and charming in a 'shabby chic' sort of way. But the reality is more 'shabby' than 'chic', the view not quite as gorgeous as the website photo, and the north-facing aspect, tucked in next to the Ponte Vecchio made it dingy on the mid- winter days we were there. Also not nearly as spacious as the wide angle pics suggest.

We are a family of three. Our teenage son slept on the sofa bed in the living area, so we felt just a little cramped. It would be more comfortable for two, or perhaps a couple with younger child.

On the up side - it was nice to lie in bed and see the old medieval tower of the Palazzo Vecchio, and to look across the river at the Vasarian corridoor and Gallery of the Ufizzi. And the apartment is warm, and fabulously located - you can walk everywhere.

The kitchen is the size of a postage stamp, really tiny - but we managed to cook our meals. Couldn't get dishwasher to work. Wifi was intermittent. Luca was here not too long after we arrived to give us keys a map and tips about sights and good cafes etc. All in all pretty good for the price. ( We imagined an elderly gentleman may have lived there - it had clearly once been a home, with little oddments around the place) - just don't expect it to be quite as fab as the photos.

  • Luca's apartment was beyond our greatest expectations. The place is literally attached to the Ponte Vecchio and walking distance from everything. It's big and very clean. Luca was easy to get a hold of and met us as soon as we arrived to the apartment to give us the keys and show us the place. He even left a list of local, non-touristy restaurant and nightlife recommendations, which we thoroughly appreciated. We went to 3 of the restaurants he recommended and they were all divine! I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and I will recommend it to anyone who decides to visit Florence!

  • Luca was an excellent host, providing great tips for sights, food and drinks, and even arranged a taxi for us to the train station! The apartment is spacious, well-maintained and in an excellent location, 10 minute walk to all major sights. We would definitely recommend this apartment to any of our friends or family planning a trip to Florence. Thanks Luca!
