- The calculation and payment of the aforementioned consume occurs at the end of the stay in cash.
- At the beginning of the stay we , together , write the value reported by the respective counters ( electricity and gas) , we do the same thing in the end.
- The difference in the value of the counter at the end minus the beginning gives the consumption in the period of stay. This value is multiplied by € 0.32 in the case of electricity , this being the cost of the kilowatt / hour in Italy , and for 1 € in the case of GAS as this is the cost per m3 of methane in Italy . As mentioned above the 2 values thus obtained are divided by two if the other apartment is occupied during the period.

We stayed in Simone's apartment for three months, and it was a perfect base for our stay. The location is great - close enough to walk to everything and at the same time a little out of the tourist madness (though Piazza Santo Spirito is pretty lively). The apartment itself is very roomy, and has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is a bit small, but it is very well equipped, and we had no difficulty at all cooking meals. We didn't meet Simone, but did speak on the phone, and he was always very responsive and helpful the few times we needed some assistance. Overall, an excellent apartment, and we'll be back.

Very good flat, large, charming with Toscan taste. Small kitchen fully equipped. We were there with a family with 3 kids. Very silent. Toys for kids, everything équiped at our arrival like soap, washing machine tablets... nothing to do when arriving. After a long car journey, it was great. Igor was very reactive, helped us with luggages, came to the parking to help... very nice. Simone was very nice and helped us a lot to make our journey very good and feeling at home. I really recommend this place, also very convenient to access all the places in Florence. The only thing to take care of is how to pack and unpack the car because of the traffic restrictions in this area of the city. Best is to park the car and do not touch it again before your leave...

I was met by Vitali, a personable young man from Moldavia. He spoke only Italian, which fortunately I could manage. He explained most of the amenities, and those questions I had later were adequately addressed by Simone who visited with me a couple of days later when they brought over a corkscrew and wineglasses (which had been missing). The location is quite central, although it is a distance (more than a 10 minute walk) to even the smallest supermercato, which could be an issue for anyone hoping to cook for a large group. The furnishings are a curious mix of modern and vintage. Ikea and Ginori, for example. Charming, and just a bit eccentric!

Simone's apartment in the Oltarno district is in a great location just around the corner from the Piazza Santo Spirito. It is very large space, great for our toddler to run around in. I recommend the place for a family with children. Simone was always very responsive via text and email.

The apartment was great - excellent location and even larger than the pictures made it look! It was easy to get to all the key sites in the Centro from the apartment, which is just right around the corner from the bustling scene at Piazza Santo Spirito. Simone was very responsive as a host to the few questions we had while we were there. I'd definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking for an apartment in the historical center of Florence, especially if you want a lot of space for 4 people or so.

Accurate description of the apartment. Great location (easy walk to most tourist attraction, while not in the midst of it). Kitchen is small, but functional. Host is great with his timely and extensive communications as well as accomodating any requests and flexibility.
