Neighborhood highlights

The 1800's Log Cabin in the Woods is on a rural mountain farm that backs up to the Daniel Boone National Forest. It is very quiet and peaceful.

Your more welcome neighbors are deer, wild turkey, squirrels, chipmunks, lightning bugs, and birds.

Your less welcome neighbors are mice, wasps, mosquitos, ants, occasionally masses of ladybugs, and poison ivy. Cucumbers are a good natural insect deterrent. Remember that you are entering their territory.

I am a former Children's Librarian, James is a retired History Teacher. We are taking care of our elderly parents scattered around Kentucky. When we are not doing that, we love to garden, craft, build, restore historic automobiles, and collect antiques and other old junk. It is fun to help nice people of all kinds enjoy nature through Airbnb.
