The space

This sleek, stylish studio apartment has everything you could hope for in a holiday rental.

Luxury linens and soft fluffy towels offer a touch indulgence.

State of the art electronics including free WiFi, 32" flat-screen Sony TV, Blu-Ray DVD player and SoundFreaq docking station ensure 'home' entertainment is of the highest quality.

The fully equipped kitchenette including double gas-burner, electric oven and grill, microwave and dishwasher makes it easy to rustle up in house meals and a washing machine covers any laundry needs.

The light, airy space also boasts a beautifully open balcony; the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine against a backdrop of blue skies and St Kilda skyline.

Located on the second floor the studio is serviced by a lift as well as a video entry intercom system.

When you are ready to step out, you could not be closer to the heart of St.Kilda. Less than 100m from the beach, less than 50m from the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops of Acland St and in full view of Luna Park the boutique Shakespeare apartments really do boast an enviable position.

Made only better by the fact that central Melbourne and the city's major attractions can easily be reached by a short tram journey.

St Kilda is a great location for your stay in Melbourne. Easy access to transportation, wonderful restaurants and cafes, groceries nearby, Luna Park, harbor esplanade and just a nice vibrant neighborhood. Melissa was very helpful and accommodating in getting us settled and communication with her excellent. The studio apartment was clean and cozy.

Perfect spot! Close to the beach, easy access to Melbourne CBD via the tram. Lots of natural light in the apartment, near the main drag in St Kilda, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A great experience!

Jack's place was everything we needed during our stay at Melbourne. It was as advertised and a very short walk to St Kilda Beach and to the tram stop. I couldn't imagine a better location for someone who likes the beach and wants to explore Melbourne and the surrounding areas.

We had a great time at Jack's loft for a few days. Walkable to beach, restaurants, and public transportation to downtown. Jack met us at the flat and showed us in right on time. Great stay.

Jack was right on time to meet me...which was fabulous after traveling 40 hours! Studio was spotless, bed was unbelievably comfortable & location was absolutely perfect!! Studio is right off of a side street near Luna Park...but incredibly quiet & peaceful...then right around the corner is Acland Street...with fabulous cafes & shops. The beach is a short walk away & a grocery store is right around the corner...post office too, if needed...you can easily catch the tram, though i really enjoyed walking everywhere! There was a wonderful Twilight Market right across the street near Luna Park when I was there, that Jack was kind enough to tell me about. It was great! I would definitely stay here again :)

We found this place perfect for our needs. Jack was extremely accommodating, even meeting us at 11pm to let us in. The location was perfect. Very close to everything. We were a little concerned when we first got there it would be loud because it is literally across the street from Luna Park, but the place must have amazing windows because we did not hear a thing. The studio itself was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We did not do any cooking there, but it appeared to be very well stocked. There were even beach towels provided if we wanted to walk to the beach. It was VERY hot in Melbourne during our stay and the air conditioner worked great and was very quite. Definitely recommend. note: Don't be put off by the smell when you first walk in to the complex. We thought that someone had vomited in there, but later realized all the bins are stored in a room right next door to the entrance. Poor building design for sure, but the rest of the building was clean with no smell. ;-)

Hi,
An English girl abroad I first visited Australia in 2008. My then 4 year old daughter and I toured the East coast in a camper van and completely fell in love with this gloriously laid-back country. Melbourne became our home over 6 years ago and I have to say, I love this place.
I love the beach, I love the creativity you find within every nook and cranny of this city, I love the coffee, the cheap eats and cafes, the fancy restaurants and global cuisines. I love the markets, the lost afternoons at the park with the kids, I love the stunning views offered by a walk around the famous Albert Park lake, the glorious summer days and the rugged up winters but most of all I love sharing it, enjoying Melbourne with family, friends, sharing her secrets with visitors.
As your host I am more than happy to offer as much help and advice as I can to help you get the best from your time here in St Kilda and Melbourne. I hope that our studio provides everything you may need during your stay and I trust that you will call if there is anything further we can do.
