in the historical center of Firenze is a real issue, parking in the street is totally forbidden for non residents car, even entering the ZTL (Limited Trafic Zone) is a problem or better is a fine of 80,00 euros (every entrance has an automatic camera), so there are 3 solutions:
1) Garage Santa Trinita (100 meters from the loft) costs 25/30 euros per day (depending on the car dimension) - It's inside ZTL but they tear off the fine as you become customer.
2) Parcheggio della Calza (10/15 minutes walking or 3 minutes by bus - is guarded but open air) is outside of ZTL and the price is 20 euros per day
3) there's a free parking lot in Galluzzo (Viale Dè Tanini - close enough to the Certosa exit of the highway A1) is far 20/25 minutes of bus (line 36 or 37) - Think that you are not going to use the car anyway, as you can visit all the important things in Firenze just walking.
E' VIETATO FUMARE.
Michele was an amazing host. He waited for us outside his loft to ensure that we found the address. Using the big map hanging on the wall, he pointed to us the location of all the important places like the grocery, the best pizzas and gelatos, the nearest church, etc. He quickly responded to all our queries/requests before and during our visit.
The loft was strategically located in that it was in a quiet, safe street but very close to the train station, all the major attractions, shopping, etc. We found it quite large and very clean, homey, and comfortable. Air conditioning was also amazing. Overall, two thumbs up! Thanks very much, Michele!
The apartment is great; central location, comfortable bed, good space and has a washing machine and kitchenette. Michele was really nice - he gave us some pointers for visiting the city and made no complaints when our train arrived late. Highly recommended.
Michele was absolutely wonderful! He allowed us to leave our bags at the apartment early, showed us how everything worked, and pointed out some good places to eat. The apartment was a lot nicer than it looks in the pictures! The bathroom is very modern, the AC and hot water work well, etc. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is great and close to major sites. We had no issues. It was a nice relaxing place to stay and I can't speak highly enough about Michele!
Beautiful little place, nice relaxed host. Close to the heart of Florence! Would highly recomend.
We loved this apartment! The location was fabulous and Michelle was a gracious host. He even got us registered for a 10k race in Florence that we could not do on our own.
The apartment was as described and very comfortable. We would absolutely love to stay here again on our next stay.
Michele was a really nice and excellent host. Check in was smooth and he recommended us lots of places to go in the area, you should definitely try them!
The flat was in great location, spotless and with all amenities you would need. I totally recommended.
