Combine this room with my other room "Sweet Cleo's Room" -which is right across the hall- if you are traveling with friends!

I think you will love the stylish and cozy feel of our home. Although the house looks and feels vintage, it underwent a major remodel several years ago and has a clean modern feel, without losing vintage charm. In the Summer months you can enjoy our backyard and swimming pool (with a great tube style water slide!)
There is a market 1 block away, Santa Rosa's Historic Railroad Square is a mere 8 block walk, and downtown Santa Rosa (RUSSIAN RIVER BREWERY) is a mile away- a 20 minute walk.
Our listings include a 12% local "hotel tax" for stays shorter than 30 days, this is included in the nightly price already- not added on later.
The backyard and swimming pool area are available to you too, please ask before inviting guests over.
Interaction with Guests
I tend to chat with guests a bit, maybe 10-20 minutes upon arrival or when we first meet, but for the most part I do my own thing and so do they. I am busy and am not home when most people arrive, but almost always meet each guest.
I love that my neighborhood is so close to Hwy 101 & Hwy 12, Historic Railroad Square and Downtown. Our street is very secluded and private, a dead end road that many locals don't know it exists even though it's so close to town. I am friends with many of my neighbors and feel incredibly safe here.
You are very close to Hwy 101 which runs North & South, Hwy 12 that runs East & West, and within walking distance to downtown Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa has Lyft & Uber services as well as public transportation and traditional taxi cabs. There is little wait for taxi services and there is a bus stop a block from my house and the main bus terminal is a 20 minute walk. You can easily find wine tour info, many of the tour busses pick up at the Hyatt which is a 10 minute walk from here.
THE DOG: The most important rule is do not let my dog out the FRONT door or any side gates in the back yard! She is very excited and friendly and will run up to the door when you arrive, you must enter rather quickly so she doesn’t slip out! Her name is Olive.
THE CAT: She can go in or out as she pleases. Her name is Jewell.
PERSONAL ITEMS: Please keep your toiletries in your room, not in the small shared bathroom. You may store groceries in the refrigerator.
LINENS: If you need more linens that what you see in your room check the closet right outside your door.
OUTDOORS: Please leave the pool area as you found it, the pool is a shared area so do not leave your towels & personal items by the pool when you leave for the afternoon.
LAUNDRY: Please ask (website hidden): Please limit kitchen use to “continental breakfast” and heating items, not preparing full meals.
NOISE: Please be respectful of other guests, myself, and our neighbors and keep it down after 10:00 PM and before 9:00 AM. In the night please be aware that our old wooden beautiful doors are quite loud, don’t shut them loudly when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Please ask me before inviting friends over. I'm usually fine with it if you have a friend or 2 that lives in the area and wants to visit, I just like to be asked ahead of time.
Justine's house is beautiful, easily accessible and close to downtown. She was a delight to meet and we found her home a cozy getaway.
Very beautiful historic home. Our stay here was lovely and very comfortable. I loved that that the house was located close to all the places we wanted visit in Santa Rosa. Although we never got to meet Justine in person, we felt very welcomed. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely historic house! I was in town for a funeral and had to check in, return, and leave at odd hours throughout my stay to tend to various family members. There were no issues with this, and even though Justine was out of town, she made it extremely easy for me to slip in and slip out with no fuss, no muss. The house's location was super convenient!
Although I wasn't able to meet Justine, it was a great experience. Our step-in host was very hands off which was great. My sister and I sat in the backyard to catch some rays and there were plenty of chairs for us which was nice. The room and everything was as described.
We were in town for a wedding and this was perfect for our needs. Our friends rented the other room in the house ("Sweet Cleo's Room") so sharing a bathroom with them wasn't a big deal. Justine's house is super adorable and clean. The pool and backyard were nice, relaxing spots to hang out too. Highly recommended!
This was a great match for us. The location was very close to family so we could easily reach each other. The home was very inviting, and eclectic in style. We were less than 3/4 mile from the downtown train station, so had many restaurant options very close by. Although the weather was a tad bit cool for the time of the year, we did avail ourselves of the use of the solar heated pool in the backyard. Our 2 grandchildren had a ball and we had great family time together. We spent a short time relaxing in the evening in the company of their small dog and cat giving rubs and pats which felt very homey. This felt like a home stay at a bargain price. We will definitely try to stay here again on another stop in Santa Rosa.
