The apartment is located in the very heart of the lovely Saint-Germain neighbourhood, in the 7ème arrondissement which, together with the 6ème arrondissement and the Latin Quarter, is what the famous Rive Gauche is all about. The main streets of this neighbourhood are boulevard St Germain, which runs parallel to the River Seine, and rue de Rennes, which goes from Place de St Germain des Prés to Tour (website hidden) Germain is known world wide for having been the chosen lieu of an entire literary class, and numerous neighbourhood places still today maintain the aura if yonder years: the super packed Café de Flore (facing the church of St Germain des Prés) is probably the most famous of these cafés.
