  • hi, we stayed in Riad Madina four nights and the place was a pleisure for us. The only exception was that we reserved a taxi to the airport on the last day, payed but didnt get it, because we could not find it. So we had to rent another. We also think that the taxi was overcharged by Leki the housekeeper, because we payed less for the self found taxi...

  • Overall I don't think the riad is worth the money. The wifi only works on rooftop, the breakfast is awful (one stale piece of bread and old jam) the worst we experienced in all of Morocco. The house keeper (older Moroccan lady) was rude. We were put in the smallest room even tho we payed for Loun room. Everyday out towels were removed from room by housekeeper and never replaced, very frustrating, yet the bathroom wasn't cleaned or toilet paper refilled. Shower blocker and flooded the bathroom. On air BNB profile it says clothes washing available/inc, we asked to put some washing on which we would do our selves, the rude housekeeper demanded 50 dirham , we told her we wanted to speak to the owner/manager Celine who we were yet to meet, she told us actually it was ok and free. Something suss going on at this riad, don't really thing there is a Celine involved at all.

  • I stayed in this beautiful Riad in Marrakech for three nights. We had a nice welcoming from Leki, who already had some tea for us and told us everything we should know about Marrakech. In this loud and hectic city, this Riad is a calm and nice home to come back in the evening. You can also cook for yourself or let Leki show you some of her Moroccan cooking skills! We would definitely recommend this place in Marrakech,

    Thanks Leki and Céline!

  • Riad placé en plein centre de Marrakech, au calme et avec une bonne hospitalité. Possibilité d'utiliser la cuisine et de profiter du calme. Conseillé !

  • We spent a nice weekend at the riad. Well located in the médina and charming.
Leki is very nice and helpful.
I really recommend this place in Marrakech.
    Book it ;-)

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au riad, reçu par la charmante Leki qui nous a offert un bon thé à la menthe en arrivant.
Le riad est idéalement situé dans la médina. Réserver votre séjour oriental les yeux fermé.

  • Our experience did not get off to a good start here. We paid 15 E to have a taxi deliver us to the Riad as it is very tricky to find in the day let alone the dark. The driver was at the airport to pick us up and all good until a boy chased the car and then the taxi driver just stopped in the middle of the medina and told us to get out and go with the boy...we were very worried as the boy didn't speak English and didn't know where the Riad was either. After many people, we found Leki and then the boy was very angry because we wouldn't give him money too for delivering us to the Riad. Make sure this doesn't happen to you! The Riad was in a good place away from the hassle and bustle but again, make sure you don't let the kids in the alley outside follow you becuase when you don't hand over money, they know many terrible swear words. The Riad itself is very nice but not al all sound proof and hot at night. Unfortunately for us a small, very noisy baby was also staying and she cried a lot and got up very early. Leki was a lovely house keeper. Also, the WIFI just doesn't work no matter where you sit. Breakfast was very, very basic.

  • Me and Arancha stayed for 3 nights in this cosy and peaceful riad. Leki was a lovely host. She made us feel at home and we did indeed! Located next to the main square, we could walk everywhere which was very handy. A bit dfifficult to find in the first place, so I recommend to ask for transfer (We didn´t and we regreted it!)
We really enjoyed our stay in Marrakech and we highly recommend staying in this riad. Hopefully we will repeat!!

  • This place was brilliant. It was a real haven from the intense medina life, extremely clean and comfortable, and very well located. You find yourself in the the souks and just 5 minutes from the main square within 30 seconds of leaving the front door. The beautiful interior of this riad was a lovely surprise after making our way down a narrow passage to reach it. Our lovely host Leki made it though. She was very warm and welcoming and there was Moroccan tea and biscuits waiting for us on arrival. She also gave us the option of eating at the riad and twice cooked delicious Moroccan food for us. She was also able to organise places on a tour to the desert for us if we wanted. There was no pressure to take her up on these extras if you didn't want to. Note: Leki understands English, but if you brush up on your French speaking skills beforehand it will make life a lot easier for you!
We would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Marrakech but wants a calm, comfortable sanctuary from the hustle of the medina.
