The elegant market town of Grassington, with its cobbled square littered with local shops, pubs and cafes, is just 5 miles away, making this an ideal location to be enjoyed at any time of the year.
We had a really lovely stay at Richard's place in Burnsall. He was very welcoming to us, always on hand and ready with helpful advice. The house is quiet, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. In particular, the shower was fantastic, the central heating perfect and the beds just right. It is a wonderful base from which to walk the Dales. We have no hesitation in recommending this delightful rustic stone cottage.
Superb long weekend spent in the Yorkshire Dales. The flat was comfortable, and had everything we needed - we felt very welcome.
Highly recommended to anyone needing a break from the city
What a lovely visit. This was our first Air BnB experience and it could not have gone better. Richard was a great host, easy to contact and make arrangements with. The cottage itself was exactly what we wanted. Clean, spacious, well equipped with the added bonus of being in gorgeous surroundings.
Thanks Richard, it was perfect.

Very comfortable cottage in a charming village. The cottage had good size rooms with pretty much everything we needed. The village is less than 5 mins walk with a fabulous pub - great food - village shop, tea rooms and large village green by the river. Great base for walking and cycling trips. Richard was very helpful in advance of the trip, and was always available. I definitely hope to return.
Richard was very easy to communicate with and the cottage was well presented. The location was nice and central with the village itself offering nice walks and a great pub.
