Loved the bungalow! It was much more spacious than I'd expected and a really amazing little house. My only complaint was that it was very cold in the bedroom at night -- though once I found the portable heater, it was plenty warm. Hope to stay there whenever I'm in Olympia.
I booked a stay at Ellen's bungalow because my sister-in-law had been scheduled for an induced labor at a nearby hospital. Unexpectedly, the induction was cancelled at the last minute, so I can't tell you how wonderful the bungalow was because we didn't get the opportunity to stay there.
I can, however, tell you that Ellen was extremely gracious and flexible, giving me a refund that was much more generous than the cancellation policy allowed. I didn't expect this, so I was pleasantly surprised. Ellen was also quite easy to communicate with and very prompt in replying to my questions. I will definitely book with her again the next time we visit the Olympia area!
The bungalow is a pretty neat place to stay. It's quite big and has a full kitchen which would come in handy for long stays. We only stayed the night and got some super tasty food at Nineveh Assyrian and delicious coffee at Olympia roasters so good to have awesome food around the corner! Ellen was a great host, very easy check in and we didn't want for anything.
I had a wonderful 5 night stay at the bungalow. It is a very adorable and comfortable place to stay. Ellen was very accommodating. Highly recommend.
Tranquil, relaxing, natural, comfortable, awesome, beautiful gardens with herbs, flowers, berries, fruit trees.
We had a very nice 4 days at the Bungalow. The interior reminds me of a home built by a boat maker, with lots of wood finishes and clever storage. The kitchen is well supplied, and we were able to cook dinner for five without needing a single pan. We liked eating outside on the deck in the front garden. Just be careful how you back your chair up after a glass or two of wine, or you may end up in the landscaping! The garden is wonderful, and the neighborhood seems safe and quiet. Ellen was friendly and easy to coordinate with. We would stay here again when we are in Olympia.
Our family stayed in the bungalow and we truly enjoyed the peace and quiet of its location. Nestled amongst the flowers, herbs, and plants it felt very private. The bungalow is perfect for a vacationing family considering the spaciousness of the cabin. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and my favorite part of the cabin. Last but not least, thank you for always communicating with us in such a timely manner! We loved our time in Olympia!
