Ellen's bungalow was perfect for us. It's super friendly and comfortable with great built-in seating, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. There was more than enough space for two of us. It's conveniently located, tidy, beautifully landscaped, and overall just a really nice place to spend a few days. I would definitely stay in Ellen's bungalow again.
Very welcome. This is a beautiful little cottage that is furnished with art and has an awesome garden. The beds are good. The kitchen is well furnished. There are supplies in the kitchen. There are books and games. The living room could be a little more comfy with furniture instead of padded benches. There is no television. I talked to the host about a safety issue regarding lack of working smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. She said she would correct this problem immediately. Did I say that we were a few block from Mom's Bakery (close to the name) and that is a heavenly spot. Olympia is really a nice place now and so much more interesting than it was in 1976 when I went to school there. It is really worth a trip to see the downtown, look at the shops and eat in the restaurants.
We were delighted to stay at the cozy Bungalow in Olympia. It was especially nice to be greeted with a blooming garden of tulips and other flowers during our Easter week visit. The kitchen is nicely outfitted for cooks and although we didn't have time to make meals on this trip, we will definitely will on our next visit to Olympia.
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at The Bungalow. Cozy and private in a quiet neighborhood, it's only a quick walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Olympia. Ellen was available via phone/text to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved the unique touches, and would happily stay here again. Thanks, Ellen!
The Bungalow was a terrific place for my family and I (3 people total) to stay for 2 nights. It is just as advertised, very cute, unique and comfortable. You can see that much attention was paid to detail in the design. Was very private. It was very close to town and a perfect place for us to stay. Parking was super easy.
