The room was nice, the bathroom was great -- except there was no WiFi in the room! This was a major drawback for us, as we had to go to the common/living area to use our devices. The hosts were not there on time for our arrival, and took some time for them to arrive even after calling/messaging a few times. The breakfast provided was simply a coupon for a cafe next door. Despite the few drawbacks (which might be important to know), I would recommend the B&B/location!

I absolutely loved staying here whilst I was in Rome. The apartment was exactly as described, neat and modern and a great bathroom. It is in a great location. I would definitely stay again.

Alessandro (Alex) was a wonderfully attentive host, and our room as exactly as described. We were met by one of Alex's employees and shown in and explained the room and area. The B&B is a condo with a few bedrooms and a shared kitchenette. The location is maybe a 5-7 minute walk from the safe, magical nighttime scene in Trastevere, which has every tiny nook and cranny street lined with tables, and bursting with restaurants and street vendors at night. It is more vibrant here than on the other side of Rome. Speaking of Rome, it is easiest to pick up the 64 bus from the nightlife area and go straight to Termini (25 mins) and do your sightseeing Metro trains from there. Take the H platform 64 bus back. The breakfast is at the wonderful bakery downstairs--a couple of doors over from the condos, and the owner there is very accommodating. For Celiacs, there are no fresh baked goods, but there are some commmercially-made cookie-like pastries to have with your (excellent) coffee. On our last day, we got our coffee "to go" (not a really normal thing here) as the taxi to the airport (48 Euros, the easier way to get there--this B&B is not on the main Termini line, so you have to do transfers) that Alex was so kind to call for us was waiting (with Alex--we met him then), and the bakery owner washed out some juice bottles to hold our coffee for us. How thoughtful! Thoughout our stay, Alex was super-fast in responding to our emails. We would recommened Alex's place, and would stay there again!

Response from Alessandro:
Dear Louise, I thank you so much for your review! Yes the B&B is not on the Metro line, but the underground in Rome is very small and not so useful, so it is better to use tram and buses. Furthermore, gettin to Fiumicino airport is very easy because Trastevere Station is very close and there there is a train that take you inside the airterminal (I wrote everything on the information sheet in each room). On the map's back side that I provide to every guest there is a underground plan to help the orientation.

Me and my fiancé visited Rome for a long weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better accommodation. It was homely, clean, tidy and comfortable. The host was fantastic and welcoming. The town on where the apartment is located is lovely. Being able to hop on a tram out side our door and get to Rome attractions at ease and with in minutes. Then at night coming back and being away from all the crowds, having the beautiful Tevere River minutes away and local restraints near by.

Alessandro was waiting for me outside of the apartment...he called out my name, recognizing my picture from airbnb. It was a lovely welcome after a long journey. His directions from the airport to the train to the tram were accurate and easy to follow. And the room looked *exactly* like the photographs. I appreciated that he took time to show me how everything worked -- Lights. Keys. Breakfast in the morning -- across the street. Internet. And that he showed me where we were on a map. Gave me some suggestions for meals and places to walk to (I stayed for just one night.) and helped me to navigate my way to a private address. My only *concern* was how dark it was right outside of the apartment when coming home alone at night. The neighborhood is great. However, that part of the street is not well lit. I'm not sure if this is something Alessandro can address or not. A lovely place to land in Rome!

Alessandro was amazing. We were running a little late and when we got to the place he greeted us with a smile and led us straight to the room. The room was very clean and in a great location...the place is literally right in front of the tram we took in and out of the city. He went out of his way to get us started in the right direction as far as getting to the Vatican and made sure we were all set. Don't expect too much out of the breakfast, just a cappuccino and croissant, but hey you're in Rome where there's plenty of great food for an excellent price. Overall it was an excellent stay and would recommend.

I live in Rome not so far to the tourist home, I like so much all open air activities and sports. I enjoy to know new people.
