Dee was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accomodation was in a rural setting and very comfortable.
Très bon accueil de la part de Dee qui donne des informations intéressantes sur ce qu'il y a à voir dans les environs.
Le logement est confortable et très calme.
La maison est un peu isolée, il faut prendre la voiture pour aller manger le soir.
Host was welcoming and made me feel at home which made me feel comfortable and at ease, bed was comfortable and the place was nice and quiet to get a rest, all in all a pleasant stay
wE SPENT ONE NIGHT
We stayed one night with Dee and found her to be a friendly and pleasant host. Our room was large and comfortable and the property is in a nice area in a semi rural location with parking available right outside the door.
Breakfast was great and we have no hesitation in recommending Dee to future guests.
Dee welcomed us to her home for a brief stay overnight in early June. We spent a pleasant evening with her in her living room, initially because the WiFi reception was better there than in our double room. She made us a tasty big Irish breakfast in the morning and gave us helpful tips about exploring the Dingle Peninsula, the next stop on our itinerary on the way to Killarney. We enjoyed the quiet of Dee's home but our itinerary did not permit us to do much exploring in the Finuge/Listowel area. We initially missed the turn for Dee's house and stopped at the local pub to ask directions. The lady there hopped in her car and said, "Follow me down the road," so if she and Dee are good examples, the local people are very friendly and helpful.
We stayed for one night at Dee's home. We had the double-bed room. In the morning Dee made us some eggs, bacon and toast. We also got cereals, juice and tea. She recommended us a nice beach for an evening walk. The local pub is not far away.
Dee´s place although simple, is clean comfortable and quiet. She was very hospitable and friendly and cooked us up an amazing fry-up breakfast which tied us over for quite some time! There is not much in the nearby area but if you have a car then it is no problems.
