This part of Paris has nearly no equivalent when speaking about location and proximity of centers of interest. Right in the 2nd arrondissement, close to the Opera and the Louvre, the apartment is surrounded by History.
Here culture meets the business sector. The area is ideally located for work as many companies and banks are based there or within a short distance. Four of the best hotels in Paris are right nearby, the Crillon, the Ritz, the Meurice and the trendier Hotel Costes.
Already very important during the three centuries before the French Revolution in 1789, this part of Paris has always developed and evolved. In the 16th and 17th century the "Jardin des Tuileries" and the "Place Vendôme" were created. Minor changes to the streets occurred later, for instance "rue de la Paix" (originally "rue Napoléon") was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The rue Saint-Honoré was known as been a place where all ranks of nobility and rich Parisian families found their suppliers since the 16th century. Nowadays the places and people have evolved, but the trend is the same. Except for Sundays, when all shops are closed, the area is always busy and lively.
With all this History what we now have is an amazing architecture and museums. All the streets in the neighbourhood have a very specific theme, the buildings all present a harmonious architecture and design and most of them if not all are of historical importance.
The "Jardin des Tuileries" itself is another piece of History, and in addition to its green area it offers a couple of museums (Le Jeu de Paume and l`Orangerie). Through this garden, and thanks to the Passerelle Solférino, it is easy to access the museum of Orsay, whereas within a short walking distance one also reaches the Louvre. For more theatrical entertainment the "La Comédie Française" and the Opéra Garnier are also very close by.
The neighbourhood has everything to offer for a fine day to day life.
Closest Metro: MADELEINE (lines 8, 12, 14), OPERA ( lines 3, 7, 8), TUILERIES ( line 1), HAVRE CUMARTIN ( lines 3 and 9). RER A for La Defense and Disneyland.
Closest parking: Thalassauto, at n. 7 rue Caumartin, within 80 metres; or VINCI Park Edouard VII, at n. 15 rue Edouard VII, within 190 metres.

The apartment is really close to underground and in a very private area. The apartment is exceptionally clean and the check in and out procedure is really easy and efficient. Will recommend this place anytime:)
The apartment was what we expected or even better. Recommend to stay in this place - apartment is very central, the terrace is amazing and in hot Bologna summers the air conditioners that are in each room are really good to have. The host was very flexible with check-in and check-out times.
Great experience! Bettina is very easy to work with -- great communication, prompt responses, and answers questions quickly and thoroughly. She worked to accommodate our needs and help us find a place that would work well for our trip.
This is a really lovely apartment. I expected "cozy" to mean small but in fact this apartment was very comfortable and spacious, with high ceilings, large bedrooms, comfortable living room and separate kitchen. Clean, nice shower, well outfitted, including washing machine plus clothes dryer (unusual and welcome). Location can't be beat. The apartment is basically right on Piazza della Signoria, one of my favorite places in Florence, in the bustling heart of the city. I would happily stay in this location again.
Excellent communication prior and on arrival in Florence. Fantastic apartment in a wonderful city. Three of us were very comfortable in a perfect setting, with everything we needed. Surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. Walking distance to a great supermarket and all the main sights were on our doorstep. Being so central we wondered about noise - but no problems - we all slept soundly in very comfortable beds.
We all hope to return and will tell all who are visiting to Florence Malespini is a great base.
We loved this flat. Climbing the 4 stories of steps was well worth it! Great for the waistline too! Perfect location and very comfortable.
The Ricasoli apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Florence! What first struck us was the amazing location--literally across the street from the Accademia where the David is. Lourdes met us and was very welcoming and sweet. There are a lot of stairs, but this is Florence so it is what we expected, being on the top floor. The apartment itself was quite spacious for two people: nice sized bedroom and bath, small kitchen to keep a few food items, comfy couch for relaxing, wifi, and the best part: 2 terraces overlooking the terra cotta tiled roofs of Florence. The front terrace even has a view of the Duomo! A convenient supermarket was right next door. We would come back in a heartbeat and will recommend this apartment to all our friends. This was the perfect home base for our trip; thank you!
This started out in an agreeable fashion. We arrived at the flat early and we intended to just leave our luggage but were allowed to check in. The unit was small as we had anticipated. The description of location of tube stop was a tad exaggerated as it was quite a walk with luggage. The TV did not work and the dryer had issues in addition to mold in bathroom. I sent 4 texts to manager and he never responded. We lost the card for the building ( I owned up and was willing to pay) and as luck would have it they are taking entire security deposit which is more that the 3 days stay. There was also a $200+ cleaning fee and considering the mold I would ask for it back. The area the unit is in is an area in "transition" and I would not suggest walking around at night.
Guys that helped check us in were friendly and helpful. Apt was what we expected. Furnished good and bed slept well..kitchen and bath were good.Location was very good..close enough to metro and banks...no bakery close by which was a bummer. Restaurants were good near by.Would recommend staying there.
Perfect rental property. Stairs can be a bit tiring at the end of the day but that is expected for Italy :) Air conditioning worked fantastically even though it was scorching hot outside. Very nice rental property and very (website hidden) was very accommodating throughout the entire rental experience and was very thorough on check in. Very helpful on recommending restaurants and places to go. Neighborhood is great, lots of "local" restaurants and nice places to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Bettina (email hidden) and the apartment was very charming. It had all the amenities you could need, and in a great neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!
