The house is just 10 minutes’ walk from the station. There are several local restaurants, and a 100 Yen "conveyor belt sushi" restaurant that I can take you to. A large grocery store is right across the street (1 min walk). The house is located as a good jumping point to explore Tokyo. You can leave the 'busyness' of Tokyo and escape for a peaceful night's rest in the suburbs. It is great for exploring the nature here, there are two major rivers nearby which offer endless running/biking trails. Also, there is a great onsen and nature area about 30 mins (website hidden) Mitake and Mt Takao are great day hikes as well.

  • Jackson was very accommodating and thorough, and his place was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped.
The location is a bit of a walk from the train station but Jackson has an electric bicycle for use, and several great shops and cheap restaurants are literally next door. The immediate setting is very suburban and ordinary but is a short walk from small local farmland and rural areas.
The bedroom is spacious and clean, comfortable with air conditioning and large window. There are a couple of basic bed options including air mattress, inflatable bed, and sofa bed.

I love traveling and exploring new places. I've traveled numerous times to Brazil, Europe, and Africa, I've also visited 33 of 50 USA states. When I travel, I love going to supermarkets/local markets, since you can see what a culture values by what they eat. I love trying new foods too, and I'm never afraid to at least try something new. I try to eat healthy as much as possible (organic, etc.). When I'm not travelling, I'm usually plotting my next adventure or I'm biking around getting lost in the city. I love meeting people from other countries, since they bring with them their own culture and customs. I try to 'pick up' one or two items from each culture and integrate them into my life. I like to travel lightly, only taking what I need. I try to adapt to the country I'm in and 'become' a local. I always clean up after myself. I'll be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have when we meet!
