A cozy, warm and colorful appartement located in the heart of Montreal. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, two balconies overlooking a quaint neighborhood. Comes fully equiped with in house laundry, a barbeque at guest's disposal, full kitchen (including your own cupboard space), full bath, wifi.. Both rooms are bright and spacious with comfy queen sized mattresses, closet, desk and night stands. You would be 10 minutes (by foot) from Montreal's buzzing downtown, a short drive or transit (there is a bus stop a block away, and a metro fifteen minutes away) from the biodome, and 2 minutes from Parc Lafontaine- where in the summer it is filled by folks tanning, juggling, playing music, and enjoying lunch and wine in the parc. Parc Lafontaine is also known to host outdoor movies and live music. Enjoy a beautiful walk, any time of year around the lake and fountain.
Near by- literally 30 seconds away- you have a grocery store if and when you feel so inspired to eat in. Otherwise the street of Mont Royal and Rachel are only 10 minutes (again, by foot) from home, offering a wide variety restaurants, delis, cafes, pubs, and fashion hubs. Then you have St Laurent and St Denis for more adventuring, and an excellent choice for night life. From hip hop clubs, to jazz and blues, rock and roll, inde and experimental- all of the above and more. After painting the town red, enjoy a poutine at la banquise, at any and all hours of the day or night- just ten minutes from home.
Now, its the next morning or afternoon and you feel like youve been well acquainted with the night life. Okay, so time for a scenic walk up to the mountain! A nice half an hour walk to arrive at the base. Give yourself another 30-40 minutes to get to the top and take in all regions of Montreal. Otherwise have a walk-about downtown and check out museums and art galleries!
Montreal has a buffet of activities, and whatever you're here for you will certainly get your fill. Come enjoy your stay in the heart of it!

Justine is a super cool girl, I really like her as a person, she has great style, and she offered tips about Montreal and the area. Her place has character but it isn't the absolute cleanest in the world (some trash left around on the front porch, garbage overfull in the kitchen, dishes unwashed in the kitchen), although it is definitely livable. Great location and fun place to stay, so I would recommend staying with Justine. If you have any animal concerns do reach out to talk to Justine before you arrive. My sister and I knew a dog would be there (we love dogs! the pup was very cute!) but we did not know there would be a cat. We are allergic to cats and Justine had gotten a cat just the day before we arrived, so this was less than ideal. Overall, a good experience!
Justine is really kind, her apartment was perfect for the 2 of us and our son of 6. We had the feeling of being part of the city within a day. The location is great and quiet, we enjoyed the back balcony setting for an early coffee and the front terrasse for a diner. We biked a lot, enjoyed the Jazz Fest, croissants and local poudings!
Unfortunately, something came up for Justine, and she was not able to host me when I was in town. In spite of that circumstance, she was very helpful in securing a place for me to stay with one of her friends/neighbors. Thanks, Justine! Sorry we couldn't meet, but I appreciated your help.
Justine's place was tucked in a nice, quiet area. There was a Metro convenience store nearby, with a couple of cafes a short walk down. The room was neat, although the toilet was slightly small. It was accessible by bus and subway, although it was a bit of a walk into the estate. Had a nice time with Justine.
The apartment is situated in a very quiet and pleasant neighbourhood and Justine was a great host! She nows the good places around and has a great collection of guidebooks at gusts' disposal. My stay there was a true local experience!
My friend and I stayed at Justines for almost a week and it was one of those weeks that we will never forgetm Justine was so sweet and kind and relaxed - she took us out for dinners and drinks and showed us around.
She lives in a group of apartments with a really great community feel. In the evening you sit outside and watch her quiet street, and every few minutes there is someone returning home from work who will join you for a glass of wine.
Thabks Justine for a wonderful week, Kyle and I loved Montreal, and we'll look forward to staying at your place again soo.
Justine was a very gracious and accommodating host. She was easy to communicate with and helped us out in a last-minute bind. Thanks Justine!
Experience passable ...
