Mette was friendly and helpful. She took time to share information about Portland and allowed me time to get work done on her devices. She was flexible with my arrival time and was accommodating. Her space was comfortable and finding street parking was very easy.
Our room was clean, had AC, WiFi, low noise, and was of adequate size. The bathroom was also well kept and had a good shower. Mette was very welcoming, giving us a map of the area as well as pointing out to us various points of interest.
A pleasant stay.
Mette is an excellent host, very nice and great spirit, she has an adorable place close to Downtown Portland. Was great stay at her place. Highly recommend
Mette is a wonderful host and made our first airbnb experience a great one.
The neighborhood is great, very walkable and hills offer some exercise! Close to Farmers Market (a Portland must) and the walk offers some great views. You can easily walk everywhere (Pearl District and Downtown) from her place. We had a car, but didn't need it for the whole weekend. Vista Spring cafe is nearby with great food and good drinks selection. The room was nice, very sunny and airy. Mette has a/c for the hot days.
Mette is great at communicating, the booking was easy, she is very accommodating to whatever you need.
Overall a great experience and Portland was fun! Hopefully will be returning for another trip.
Staying here was very enjoyable. The house was clean and so cute inside! Mette even set up an extra bed for my sister, which was greatly appreciated. The neighborhood was also very nice and parking was easy!
Mette lives in an old apartment building in a fabulous old neighborhood. I loved her hardwood floors and all the windows. She was very gracious with me, particularly since I goofed on my arrival time. I rode my bike downhill to downtown Portland and environs and enjoyed being close to so much; the only drawback is coming up the hill!
Mette was an adorable hostess! The house is nice in a quiet neighborhood, about US$7 dollars to use an UBER to go Downtown.
Amazing bed and big room.
About the Host, Mette
I am original from Denmark, but have been living in Portland for about 23 years. I Have two growing up daughters, my older daughter is a teacher and my younger daughter is still in school. I am just starting a scrub business mettescrubs. I am a very active person, and like to go for long walks. I also like to travel a lot and have been to many places around the world. I discovered airbnb about a year ago when I had to go to New York. I had a great experience with airbnb and think it is a great way to travel. I keep my place nice and clean and always think about what it would be like if I were the guest. I have enjoyed all my guests and hope to enjoy many more.
