  • We spent 4 nights at Michael's conveniently located studio. Shops, cafe, supermarket are just around the corner. There are at least two Chinese restaurants nearby. Michael left plenty of useful travel guides and the fully equipped kitchen added another dimension for us to taste the local life.

I would definitely recommend this property and shall come back again.

  • We spent 14 nights in Michael's apartment. The location was great and after 9 days we felt like one of the locals. The area is quiet, however, some of the residents in the building were noisy at times late at night.
The apartment is compact and as advertised in regard to the photos.
You can't beat the location if you want to experience a really good multicultural vibe.
We really liked the restaurant L'Annexe just around the corner. The food was great as were the staff.

  • We had a fantastic time at Michael's studio in Montmarte! It's clean, coz, yet comfortable, and the location was fabulous, with a view of the Sacré-Cœur from our window. Additionally, Michael was a wonderful host and provides lots of useful information upon arrival. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful, amazingly priced option for accommodation in Paris.

  • We have just returned home from a lovely trip to France. Our little "home away from home" while we were in Paris was perfect. Michael gave us explicit instructions on how to pick up the key and also how to find the studio. This was great as we were in an area in which we were not familiar. It rained quite a bit while we were there. We found an umbrella in the studio so we did not have to purchase one. A very nice touch. We were also able to prepare a few meals in the small kitchenette area. It is nice to not have to eat every meal in a restaurant Our group consisted a myself, my daughter and her friend. The studio was good for three females but might be crowded (but certainly acceptable) for a group of four. When you are a tourist you spend very little time in your lodging anyway. Close proximity to metro was nice too. I would definitely recommend the studio to future guests and would love to stay again on another trip to Paris.

  • First time using Airbnb and it could not have been better! I very much appreciated Michael’s prompt responses from the initial communiqué to the night before when Philippe called to check in with us and offered to call a cab for the airport if needed. A few days prior to departing from Paris, Michael sent maps and clear instructions on how to get the keys and into the apartment, which made this process anxiety free for me. My daughter and I spent 8 nights in the apartment and it is just as described and more. Both my daughter Ariel and I appreciated the little things that perhaps go unnoticed such as the red box in the nightstand, which contains manuals to some of the appliances (microwave, washer, etc.), city maps, etc. It rained several days while we were there and though we were prepared, we ended up losing our umbrella towards the end of our stay, but even that, we found an umbrella in the apartment and that saved us from having to buy one. Other items that came in handy were the blow dryer, shopping bags, dish soap and new sponges, and a kitchenette with all the essential items. The apartment was clean, good water pressure and most importantly, a very nice, firm, and comfortable bed.
It is all about location, location, location! We liked the apartment’s location and did not feel unsafe at any time, even when we got back late at night. With the assistance of the neighborhood map Michael provided, we quickly became familiar with the metro stops and found our way around with ease. The map even included ATM sites, which was convenient. I liked that there was a large grocery store nearby as well as other small convenience stores and most importantly bakeries, which I totally miss now! Never had a croissant as delicious as the ones we ate there.
I had been in Paris some years ago and found the people rude and arrogant and left with the sense that I would not return; this trip was just the opposite. This experience was so positive from the initial contact with Michael, the people at the café where we picked up the keys from, Philippe who checked us in, some of the building tenants we encountered, grocery store staff and customer who explained to us that we needed to have a bag to put in our groceries, to the lovely couple at the books store right around the building. Will definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return! Thanks Michael and Philippe for your hospitality!

  • Studio 7 provided my parents and myself a great base for our first visit to Paris. Located just behind the Sacre-Couer, you can see it from the window and be there under 10 minutes. The convenience doesn't end there however. With Carrefour, pharmacies and lots of restaurants literally just around the corner, you don't have to go very far to get what you need. The Metro and buses are also very accessible and get you to Paris' attractions relatively quickly and cheaply too. My parents really enjoyed using buses for the view and convenience.
Michael and Philippe communicated with us really well with great attention to detail.
Overall, a wonderful stay in a lovely area in Paris - would definitely recommend!

  • This is a lovely apartment with most the of basic things we need during our 7-day stay. The furniture, towels and so on are reasonably clean. From the windows, you have the sight of the top of the Basilica of Scared Heart, the landmark of Montmartre. It is perhaps the best appetizer for breakfast and dinner (given you cook at the apartment).

It is located between two metro station. Either one requires you a 10- to 15-minute walking but it makes you accessible to different lines. (It takes some time to get to the town centre though.) The neighbourhood is packed with bistrots, cafes and supermarkets. Overall, the area is quiet and safe. But if you go back late at night, you have to pay some attention and not to walk alone.

It was a pity that we haven't met Michael. He has been very responsive and detail-minded. His instructions were clear and precise so there wasn't any problem checking in and out.

  • The stay we had in Paris in this flat was ideal because it was very central to the area of Montmartre. It also had a lift for our heavy bags to go up.The shower worked really well. The beds were very comfortable. The place was very clean. Everything worked well. It was a bit small, but we were out everyday and only came home to eat, shower and sleep, so it was good

  • The studio is a jolly little studio apartment, and is great for a couple. It turned out to be a great place to stay for our short visit to Paris. Michael was quick to reply and very useful. Although we didn't meet him, the instructions left for access were very clear. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying there.
