This is the perfect way to enjoy the unique architecture of the area: there are tiny exquisite squares, wooden houses, hidden parks, winding streets, small terraces and long stairways plus the Butte’s famous vineyard.
Many shops and stores are close to the apartment: bakery, butcher, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, clubs, laundromats, and doctors.

Bus n° 80 goes to Place de Clichy (Pathé Cinéma theatre, restaurants...), Saint-Lazarre station, the Champs Elysées, Pont d'Alma, the Eiffel Tower.
The Montmartrobus is a fantastic way to get around Montmartre (Sacré-Coeur, Place du Tertre, Pigalle) without exhausting yourself climbing up and down those hills!
You can also find bike stands: Vélib’ which is a self service 'bike hire' system available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Multi pick up and drop off location (all around Paris) allows you to pick up your bike from one service point and drop off to another (station n° (phone number hidden),rue Custine).
The Golden Rule is just plain old common sense.
Please leave the space as clean as you found it (dishes, fridge, and microwave).
Please be considerate of our neighbors. You'll also find an welcome folder with information on the studio (washing machine, tv, phone, wifi codes...) and neighborhood.
I will email you the arrival instructions two weeks before your check-in date and I will also ask for your travel details to plan the check-in and check-out. Please feel free to ask for any additional information you might need.
Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in and check-out times are flexible. You can arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, this will not be a problem. Please provide your flight/train details after the booking is completed so I can make arrangements and make sure someone will be able to welcome you.
For very early arrivals or very late departures I will always try to make it possible, but if the studio is booked by other guests it will depend on their schedules.
In general, if there is a departure and an arrival on the same day:
check-out by 12H (noon)
check-in after 18H (6 pm)
If the other guests don´t mind it should be ok to leave your bags at the studio before/after your check-in or check-out.

I spent a month in Studio 7 and my experience was extremely positive. I didn't get to meet Michael in person, but he was in communication throughout the entire period before my trip. And once I arrived, he made sure that I had all of the info that I'd need to get around (maps, locations of nearby shops, directions to studio, etc). Philippe was the one who checked me in on my first day, and he was very helpful and friendly!
The neighborhood is amazing and I would most certainly stay in this part of the 18th arrondissement again. There are some great bakeries just up the street (I practically lived off of baguettes during my time there). Plus two metro lines are located very close by (you can walk to line 12 in under 10 minutes and line 4 in under 5 minutes). There's also a Carrefour and a pharmacy right around the corner for your grocery and toiletry needs.
I loved coming back to the apartment after a long day of exploring Paris. The bed is comfortable, the shower works great, and the light that comes in through the windows is wonderful during the day. Plus there's a great view of the building across the courtyard (pretty Parisian architecture). The building itself also felt very safe. You have to go through two sets of locked doors just to get inside. Plus, there are a lot of cafes located between the apartment and line 12, so even when I'd come back at night, there'd always be plenty of people walking around on the street. I definitely want to stay at Studio 7 again the next time that I'm in Paris!
I had a fantastic time staying at Studio 7. the studio is exactly as advertised, and is located in a great area. Montmartre is a really great location with wonderful restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Michael and Philipe were also very helpful with the loss of my camera, and they invited me to have a drink with them one night, because they knew I was travelling alone. Great location, great apartment and fantastic hosts. I highly recommend the apartment and will stay there again myself in future.
I and my family stayed 4 nights in Michael's apartment and it was lovelly as shown in the pictures. We had 8 pc of luggage so having a lift in the building was just perfect. This apartment has everything for short stay. Michael came to greet us and seemed like a very nice person, I would deffinetly recomment this apartment and would return there myself
This was our second time to stay in the studio. Michael makes it very easy to find the location with his clear, concise directions on how to get the key, how to locate the studio etc. The studio has everything one would need. There is a very small kitchen area with a hot plate, coffee maker, small refrigerator etc. This is nice to have if you do not want to eat every single meal in a restaurant. There is info on the local area (grocery store, bakery, cafes...etc.) Access to the metro is nearby as well. I believe the fact that we have chosen to stay in this location for a 2nd time speaks for itself. This time we even met Michael for coffee. Great place and great host.
We spent 4 nights at Michael's conveniently located studio. Shops, cafe, supermarket are just around the corner. There are at least two Chinese restaurants nearby. Michael left plenty of useful travel guides and the fully equipped kitchen added another dimension for us to taste the local life.
I would definitely recommend this property and shall come back again.
