Vibrant neighborhood

This area is walkable with lots to explore, especially for dining out.
Some info has been automatically translated.
This cosy studio with private roof terrace is centrally located in 'De Pijp', a beautiful neighbourhood!

You will surely enjoy the best of Amsterdam, located next to the famous Albert Cuyp Market, to all kinds of public transport, bicycle-rental and very close to top-attractions like the Museum Quarter, Heineken Museum and the Canals (5-15 min. walking distance). The perfect starting point!

As a proud local 'Amsterdammer' I would gladly host and wish you the best of the city! Cheers, Neddo

The space
The studio is just a 26M2 space, but smartly designed to offer a comfortable living. Cooking, dining, sitting, relaxing, dancing, refreshing and sleeping: it's all provided! My intention is to provide you with all the comfort and utilities, as I provide them to myself. This means you won't enter a cold & empty rental apartment, but a fully equipped house with utilities you probably have at home yourself.

I enjoy my own living, and when hosting guests, I try to provide the best stay in my studio.

Guest access
All spaces are directly accessed from the shared staircase. The entrance of the studio can be found on the fifth floor. On the sixth floor the staircase gives acces to the privately owned rooftop terrace.

Other things to note
There are three little aspects I can't change and you could consider:

- The dutch weather can be treacherous, which could limit the pleasure of the rooftop terrace (but not any more compared to the rest of Amsterdam).

- The studio, though situated on a quiet backside, is in a urban zone. With occasionally some standard city living noises, like from unaware neighbours. Nothing special and I will always try to help when there is any inconvenience.

- There is no escalator. The staircase itself is spacious and can be easily/safely used, but does require at least a normal health condition.

Neighborhood highlights

The unique selling point of the studio is the location in 'De Pijp', offering best of both worlds: The Pijp is the most central neighbourhood of all Amsterdam, providing all the convenience of having everything close-by. But, without being a complete tourist zone, so you can still relax or stay comfortable at home.

The studio is located in the neighborhood 'De Pijp', a historical neighbourhood for local residents reflecting that all kinds of cultures and backgrounds can live together, side by side. Too much to tell about, but for now on a short notice:

It's alive, vibrant and contains a socially beautiful mix of students, young professionals, traditional 'Amsterdammers' and social housing for the elderly. You can take a stroll for hours and you won't stop noticing terraces to enjoy, any culture & kitchen imaginable, cosy city parks, shops, canals and traditional & trendy café's.

Look into the lovely Sarphati city park, the famous Albert Cuypmarket and the globally distributed Heineken Brewery, but mostly enjoy everything in between. Personally, I would say 'De Pijp' is the perfect choice to visit Amsterdam and to live in.
