The Space

Hello,

Home Guide for one room parts of July 2014.
Ok so now on to the fun stuff.....

Great place, great hosts, in an even better location. Very modern, comfortable, warm host with many 5 star reviews on Air BNB.

My home is located in San Francisco's North Beach/Telegraph Hill neighborhood. Walk to Pier 39, China Town, and Coit Tower!

The rooms are fully furnished.

For longer visits, I am open to a partial month with three day / 3 night minimum stays. The rooms are very comfortable. Nice bed, clean, plants, art work, etc. We have hi speed WIFI, cable TV, full hi fidelity sound system, etc. ALL THE AMENITIES IN EVERY WAY.

You have tons of public transportation options from Bus, streetcar, BART and cable car very close to the house.

North Beach is a neighborhood in the northeast corner of San Francisco adjacent to Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf and Russian Hill. My Home neighborhood is IN San Francisco's Little Italy, and has historically been home to a large Italian American population. It still holds many Italian restaurants today, though many other ethnic groups currently live in the neighborhood. It was also the historic center of the beatnik subculture. Today, North Beach is one of San Francisco's hippest, and most desired locations. We are both a nightlife district, foodies, bars, etc. as well as a residential neighborhood populated by a mix of young urban professionals, families and is considered the place to be if you are traveling.

The American Planning Association (APA) has named North Beach as one of ten 'Great Neighborhoods in America'.[2]

Guest Access

everything except garage. No parking. Full access. back yard, Kitchen all parts of the home. get comfortable and chill!!

Interaction with Guests

We will be here off and on, always available for questions, Text or call at any time. We are very friendly, and know the City very well. You will be comfortable, and feel welcome and at home.

The Neighborhood

North beach is amazing. look at my description.

Please check out the internet for a lot more info. regarding North Beach, and the multiple neighborhoods that are outside of North beach. The mission, Hayes valley, Dolores park, China town Some are amazing places to explore. done be afraid to head don to thee border of the Tenderloin (rough neighborhood, but they leave tourist alone, and you'll catch some of the best food in the city!! Golden gate park, the new Exploratorium, etc. Its a lot, so pick a couple. DO NOT try and do them all, you'll just get fried, unless your here for at least 10 days!

YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN to the ferry Building.. Don;t miss out. Another ONE OF MY FAVORITES IS RENTING A BIKe, going across the golden gate, with tons of great stuff along te way, and you can TAKING THE FERRY TO Saulalito! have some lunch, check out the great town right on the water... If your here long enough Muir woods is beautiful. rent a car and you can hit Muir woods and Stinson beach (usually much warmer and a nicer beach. one day. Same road. i will give you stop points along the way...

You have to go the check out Baker beach (bring a sweatshirt, jacket, etc. , or take a day trip to the amazing Stiinson beach, and all the small towns that surround this area on the way! Lots of info. information, pics, history and reviews of the area. closets to some a amazing attractions, and there are so many more great things too see in other parts of the City. 1 week a is enough time to really get sense of San Francisco. Spend a day in the wine country. get out to the coast, have a great meal in new but not necessarily expensive restaurant. Does not need to be pricy, and experience some very different culture's unique to each area.. Break out of North Beach, and really get to know SF!! fisherman wharf is not where you want to go, unless your going to hang at Aquatic Park. you want to go....and explore off he hidden path. I get excited, and do offer tours when time allows.

Getting around

Absolutely. between Bart and the bus system, its all very close to my home. You will have an easy time to get map of the ferry system, train, Bart, bus etc. if you ant o go upscale at a reasonable price the locals use we use UBER. They send a nice town car and not spend a lot of money. usually within 203 minutes when you get the UBER app. LOVE THE HOP ON HOP OFF BUSES! yYou have to check them out!

Other Things to Note

The neighborhood, and your host(s) are very easy, laid back people, who love to help and make your trip is comfortable, from the minute you meet us until you leave, you will immediately feel comfortable in the best neighborhood in San Francisco, and rated one on the ten best in the US. IF YOUR COMING OUT AND YOU KNOW A FEW MONTHS AHEAD OF TIM TRY AND BOOK THE EVENING TOUR OF ALCATRAZ. if not don't bother going.

  • Great location!!! Close to everything: Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Telegraph Hill, China Town, etc. Ryan was a great host, very helpful and always happy to give us additional information. Ryan always had great recommendations for restaurants, make sure you get some pizza at Tony's. JB (the dog) is sweetie. Can't go wrong with staying here!

  • Ryan was busy and unfortunately didn't spend much time with him, but his roomate Rob was an excellent host. Helped out with everything, invited us to go out with him and his friends on a Saturday night, drove us to the airport, cooked us dinner etc..brillian!
The house is in AN EXCELLENT LOCATION, walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, great Italian restaurants nearby, easy public transport access. Would def stay here again if I were to go back to San Fran! Highly recommended!

  • I spent a month at Ryan's place. I was welcomed warmly and made feel at home immediately. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. It has all the necessary mod cons such as Washing machine, Tumble dryer and Dishwasher. Good shower. Location is fantastic/ As you leave the apartment you can see the sea if you look to the left and to the right, you have charming Washington square only a block away. It is very easy to move around on foot and by public transport. I had an excellent experience at Ryan;s apartment and I will certainly recommend it.
