The space

A charming modern maisonette with a private pool. Enter into a living/dining/kitchen leading to a yard with a spacious terrace enjoying views of Mellieha church, village & sea, and a pool (which is of exclusive use to this maisonette), two bedrooms (main with ensuite) and an additional bathroom. The modern property sleeps 4 persons.

The property is situated in a quiet road, which nonetheless is close to all amenities, such as shops, bus stops, banks, bars and restaurants. A grocery store is located less than 50 metres down the road from the maisonette. Furthermore, the maisonette is only a few minutes away from the beautiful sandy beach of Ghadira, which enjoys Blue Flag status.

The property is located in Mellieha, a quaint village which was proclaimed a European Destination of Excellence in 2009. Mellieha hosts Malta's largest sandy beaches & a number of rocky beaches too, is ideal for swimming and diving, is situated close to a number of archaeological sites & Malta's sister island, Gozo. The unique geography of Mellieha is also characterised by large tracts of arable and uncultivated land. This, coupled with Malta's mild winter climate, offers the opportunity for some highly relaxing and enjoyable country walks.

The maisonette and its location combine perfectly to provide a splendid backdrop to your vacation.

The apartment was lovely. Really spacious and clean. Jeannine met us and explained everything we needed to know. The pool was great although a bit too cold during our stay (which was in March). The area was great lots of restaurants and shops. It is a bit of a trek up towards the apartment, so I would warn anyone with limited mobility or young children. It was worth it for the beautiful views. Great place to travel around to visit other places by bus, which is €1.50 and the tickets last for two hours so it is handy. We had a really lovely stay and would come back and recommend as well. Thank Jeannine for welcoming us to Malta.

We found this to be a lovely apartment, but we were unable to stay. The flat was clean but very cold. The gas heater was inadequate and we were cold all night. There was no hot water in the apartment, this needed a gas cylinder that we didn't have on our first morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Jeannine's apartment. Her place is big enough to comfortably host 6 people at a time. The balcony is pretty big, kitchen is well equipped, there was plenty of towels for all of us. Jeannine is very friendly and thoughtful with her guests, we really had a great time and recommend her place for any family looking to have a great time in Malta.

Jeannine was a great host. The appartment was exactly like it is described, the location is great, the neighborhood nice. You can walk to the main street where a lot of restaurants and grocery stores are. It is 5 minutes to the ferry to Gozo and in walking distance to Popeye Village. First thing in the morning was having a coffee in the comfortable chairs on the balcony holding our faces in the sun. Although it was November we had our breakfast every morning outside. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks!
