The flat is in the quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of Drumcondra, which is just north of the City Centre and home to both families and lots of local students.

Access to Dublin City Centre is via a short 10 minute bus ride (served by 6+ bus lines), 25 min walk, or taxi. A short two-block walk away you'll find a Tesco supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, banks, post office, and pubs (Fagan's is my favorite). Dublin Airport is a 10-minute cab or 20-minute bus ride away.

All in all, this is a comfortable and modern apartment, and while it is not directly in the City Centre, it is close to nearly everything with easy access to all parts of Dublin.

  • I was up in Dublin for as long weekend and Kerac's place was perfect. Its about 25 minutes walk to the city centre, but there are lots of buses nearby and as it's in a residential district parking for cars is not a problem.

Kerac was away while I stayed there, but he communicated excellently and was full of all relevant information.

The apartment is very comfortable and was very clean when I arrived too. All in all, I've no hesitation in recommending Kerac 's place if you are visiting Dublin.

  • We were very pleased with our stay. Kerac was a great host and the apartment was spotless and close to the city centre. The apartment was also really nice and cozy. We spent a weekend there, with a full day in Howth, and it was great to come back to a quiet place to have tea and work (I'm a student).

We would definitely recommend Kerac and this apartment to friends. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

  • This apartment was really nice and exactly what my boyfriend and i were looking for! In was in a safe quiet neighborhood, just outside the city but very accessible by busses that came every 5 minutes and got to the city center in about 10. Kerac was also very friendly and accommodating, he showed us how the apartment worked when we got there and even left us little shampoos and soaps and a vanity kit just like at a hotel! Really enjoyed the stay, loved Dubin, and would recommend the place!

About
While my life is relatively stable, I rarely seem to stay in the same place for long. I'm a native Californian currently finishing up my medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and about to move to New York for residency training at Mount Sinai. When I'm not traveling between hospitals all over Ireland, flying to San Francisco and driving up and down the West Coast, I try to fit in as much new travel as possible. It's hard to pick my favorite destinations, but my top three would have to be: San Francisco - my home base, full of great people, quirky neighborhoods, sweeping vistas, abundant nature and an amazing food scene. Barcelona - I spent 6 months here and have never been to another place so full of life, visual stimulation and spirit. Dubrovnik - so much beauty packed into such a small place. Dubrovnik and Croatia left a huge impression on my life (although it helps that I became engaged there). In between study I love to cook, run, climb, cycle, find great live music and shows and dominate pub quizzes. I'm excited to see where I'll end up next, and glad to have the airbnb community to help me navigate along the way!
