This downstairs apartment has a private entrance and a comfortable queen bed as well as a fold out bed in the sitting room. There is a small kitchen area which includes a small oven, refrigerator, and microwave. There is a private deck with an outdoor covered eating area.

You will have access to the downstairs apartment. The bottom floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom. One room has a real Queen Bed while the other room has a trundle style bed which is a full size. This bed is 5' 10" long.

This is a very quiet street so during the day you can heard the birds singing while at the night you can hear the crash and the ocean and the sea lions barking at the moon.
Please keep in mind that while you are close to two very nice beaches it is a rather long walk to downtown. I ride my bike there all the time and the drive usually takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic.
There is a bus stop a couple of block away at East Cliff which is the first road you come to.
The parking is at the top of the driveway and you walk down the driveway to the front door. There is only room for a maximum of two vehicles.

We had a great time in this apartment. Paul supplied everything we needed for our stay and was very helpful. It's a perfect place to stay if you don't want to be right in the middle of the Santa Cruz beach crowds.

Paul's place is small yet cozy. The Kitchenette is convenient for warming leftovers. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. We loved the location, its a great bike ride to everything. I would stay there again.
Paul was very quick to respond to my last minute request, which I appreciated greatly. He was able to accommodate us just acouple of hrs before we arrived. The place was exactly what was advertised and more :) very clean and convenient it's exactly 5 min walk to the beach which was beautiful. We were able to take a swim in the morning, who would of thought December would be so warm in Santa Cruz. Paul also suggested very delicious restaurants walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Santa Cruz.
You really can hear the waves from the deck! The place is a perfect stay for two, though there is room for 4-6 to hang out at any given time. Didn't actually meet Paul, but online communications were all very nice and prompt and we had no issues. Highly recommend a trip to Pizza My Heart in Capitola and the 5 minute walk from this address to the beach via 14th Street around sunset. Thanks for the great stay, Paul!

We only spent one night in Santa Cruz as we passed through. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with an basic set-up that is perfect for a few days - a small sink, a few utensils, a microwave etc. It was a short walk to the beach and the Farmers Markets at the top of the street on Sundays were great.
Clean, spartan rental, straightforward. Convenient location for walking to beaches.
The unit was clean and very comfortable. The street is quiet and felt very safe for a single woman. Paul and his friend, Cindy, were great hosts and did everything possible to make me comfortable in the unit as well as in Santa Cruz. It is only a short walk to a stunning beach.
I stayed a whole week and would definitely go back.
