David and Ethel could not have been more welcoming or gracious hosts. They do a great breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend!
David and Ethel were both extremely gracious and welcoming. The house was exactly as it is described, warm and cozy and a short walk to the downtown/ falls area. The breakfast was amazing and the advice for local bars/ restaurants was also fantastic! We were even lucky enough to have some of David's delicious home brewed beer. I would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance, it will make your trip that much more enjoyable.
A absolutely great location to stay there, only 30min by walk and 10min by bus to the falls (the next bus station just one street far)! David was, in my opinion, the best host that I've ever had by booking locations with Airbnb! He's really helpful and moreover, a funny and good man! His homemade beer (brewed by the German brewery principle) is so great! The breakfast is made by his wife who prepares this with a lot of love! Her cakes and muffins are so great!
Finally, I can recommend this location to 100%!
David and Ethel were great hosts and made me feel very welcome in their house. I found this place to be the perfect location, away from the main tourist area but easy enough to walk there, and also close to other sights along the Niagara River.
The house is in a quiet side street, which also has public transport running at the end of the road, very convenient, and also close to downtown.
The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large ensuite, just perfect for my stay.
David and Ethel had lots of suggestions for the local area and are very knowledgable. Really enjoyed chatting to them both.
And it really was worth staying there just for Ethel's breakfasts, which are legendary, thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.
We liked this place so much, only 20 min walk from the falls. The breakfast was perfect, and David and Ethel are such nice people. We had the "small" room, for 2 people, with a private bathroom, and a small bedroom. The only thing that wasn't perfect, was the bed, which was a bit old, but you can live with that.
It was a great place to stay - a traditional B&B, and very nice that it was away from the touristy part of Niagara Falls. But still within walking distance of the falls, the bus station and Queen Street. And with a WeGo bus stop just around the corner.
David recommended The Tap for dinner at the old down town - perfect, and a chance to meet people who live there and not just tourist. It was also nice to have a chat about economy, politics, culture etc - I always appreciate that when travelling in a foreign country. And the breakfast was super - lasted me a whole day:-).
I will definitely recommend to others.
