Vi havde lejet Eddys 3bd pool Villa et halvt år i forvejen. På grund af renovering fik vi et par dage før ankomst besked på at var blevet opgraderet til en 4bd pool Villa i stedet. Den lå også godt i forhold til Orlando så det var fint. Vi ankom sent og havde problemer med at slukke en alarm. Derfor kontaktede vi Eddy via airbnb app besked og han svarede med det samme, selv om det var ved midnatstide. Dejligt hus med en dejlig pool. Desværre virkede internet adgangen ikke, og det lykkedes ikke Eddy at få det bragt i orden de 6 dage vi var der. Rengøringen havde ikke været helt i krogene, men ellers var alt OK.
Very nice house, well equipped, conveniently located near a Walmart. Eddy was very responsive. No complains...
I booked this house for my 30th birthday weekend in Orlando and when we got to the house it was a completely different house! I knew prior to booking that I would be bringing my dog, so I searched specifically for dog friendly rentals. This property came up in my search, I loved it and booked it.
When we got to the house and noticed it was different I reached out to Eddy and the people at AirBnB about the confusion. Eddy was quite defensive and told us that we had to evict the property. This was quite alarming because we had just traveled a few hours to get to the property and planned our weekend at the property. Eddy stated that the house that I booked did not allow pets, yet it came up in the search. It was not communicated to me that I was going to be staying at a completely different home. So I would say there was a lack of communication on Eddy's part. On the other hand the customer service at AirBnB was very helpful and understanding.
The house that we stayed in accommodated the same amount of people but the pool was tiny and you could literally touch from one side to the other, also it was missing the jetted tub in the master bathroom. The house also only had three rolls of toilet paper in the entire house.
If prior to my booking Eddy had communicated with me about re allocating to another home and sent me some photos I would have given him 5 stars, but I think there are some things that could be improved upon.
I'm afraid this lady was very unreasonable and not flexible at all. After she booked my property she has mentioned that is bringing two dogs to the house which is not permitted in my policies. However I did allocate her in another house more suitable for Pets with the same features as the original home. Apparently she was OK with that until the last minute of arrival she started to complaint making me look like the bad host. Also she acted very rude by hanging up the phone when I was speaking with her and never replied again to my messages. She wanted to stay for free which is not acceptable. In my history records all my guest's are very happy when staying in my properties.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Property was really good and pretty convenient location also the customer service was really good. We are pleased and we will come back for anytime that we need it. Thanks!
Good news and BAD news with my stay with Eddy, first the good news...
Eddy was as cordial and polite as he possibly could be throughout the process. The neighborhood was good, nothing to complain about there. I didn't actually meet him, he's in this for the business obviously but I had no problem with his manners I'm sure he is a nice person.
Problem is Eddy didn't give us the address or keys to the same place we booked on the website. The accommodations were equivalent in amenities for us, but it wasn't the same place. So with this host you may not get the place pictured, look out for that.
There were other problems too. No hot water for 4 days. A broken door handle, broken cabinet. Tap water smelled of sulfur and tasted the same. The dishwasher backed up and was filled with red water. The towels had been washed in the sulfur water and smelled odd as well. The tub in the second bathroom was backed up and didn't drain properly. The pool never got cleaned during our stay, only a few pieces of debris and bugs in there though.
The straw that broke the camel's back though were the roaches. We killed a couple dozen of them over our stay which is more than I can chalk up to a few perhaps wandering in while we brought in groceries. I believe the cause might have been a garbage can in the attached garage.
Either way our stay wasn't acceptable and Eddy being a business man more than a host didn't offer a refund only future discounts with him.
That all said, he ensured to me that all these issues would be fixed for the next guests and I believe him. But that did me a whole lot of good! What about the guests you have now? haha!
I'm afraid Ryan was not a flexible guest at all. I tried my best to help him but he was looking for small excuses to get all his money back and obviously stay for free. The only true story was about the hot water due to a last minute problem but it was fixed by maintenance ontime. He was informed from the beginning that I had another available house with same features since I work with several properties in Disney area. All my previous guests are absolutely satisfied and very happy staying in all my properties. The other stories are just created from him in order to get 100% full refund and enjoy a free vacation! Not nice gesture ....
The house was everything we needed. It was in good condition, clean, and as advertised. It was, however, a different address than advertised, about 10 minutes away. (I had seen a review that stated this same scenario) Also, our check in time was 4 pm. We arrived about 5 pm and the cleaning crew was still there. Although it wasn't perfect, had an overall great experience and would book again. Thanks eddy!
