Khalid's apartment was fabulous and we would definitely stay here again. Not only was it immaculate and extremely clean, but it had a wonderful style to it that made it very funky and cool. Khalid himself was also lovely - offering loads of great advice about the surrounding area, maps and books to help us get around and he even left us a little welcome snack! He was also really flexible in terms of meeting us with the keys (we kept changing the time!) and letting us have a late check-out because no-one else was checking in that day. Best of all was the area - SO close to many great cafes, restaurants, Brooklyn flea market and Forte Greene Farmers Market on Saturday and only a couple of minutes walk to the subway line that takes you straight into Manhattan. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Khalid!
No problem! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed yourself. and you may have just given be the best review yet! lol thanks for that :) I hope the rest of your trip in and around the states keeps up to the same level of enjoyment and more! take care. and definitely look me up next time you need a spot in Brooklyn.
Very good at returning answers to any of our questions, Khalid was caring about our well being and was available almost any time by mail. Khalid was present in the appartment when we arrived. He made sure we had eveything we would need and told us a lot about the neighborhood and transportation means. The lodging is quite well located and practical for two people. It is clean and the decoration very unique.
Khalid's flat was the perfect location for us to begin exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan - easy access to subway stations, good restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and a comfortable flat to return to after a long day of sightseeing. We had no problems meeting Khalid for the key, and he was very helpful getting us acclimated to the neighborhood. A nice fella!
As advertised; great location if you are trying to explore Brooklyn flavors-especially Park slope.
A very nice place in Brooklyn, clean and fuctionnal. A friendly welcome from Khalid who has been waiting for us and greeted us with drinks and snacks.
The subway is really near (one block) and is very convenient.
A very nice stay in New York highly recommanded !
What a great stay! My wife and I were in Brooklyn for the first time for a wedding. Khalid's studio was very clean and full of cool art. Khalid was really friendly and provided us with guidebooks and even a hand-drawn map of the neighborhood, with restaurant suggestions, grocery stores, etc. The neighborhood is wonderful, with plenty to walk to like the Barclay Center, Botanic Garden, and lots of restaurants. It was easy to jump on the train to Manhattan and Williamsburg (which we did). We would definitely recommend Khalid's place to future visitors.
We've just spend 10 days in Khalid's flat. The flat was very cosy and comfortbable, small but with all you need for your stay. Khalid welcomed us greatly and answered all our questions during our holiday. The flat is located in a quiet area, next to different subways (to go to Manhattan...) and many bars and restaurants. Sure we'll go back again ! M&B
A great , little, clean, quiet apartment on a good location .
Khalid was very helpful and friendly. (Helpfull too with getting back our E-reader wich we left in the apartment.) The studio is perfect located: 2 minutes from the C Train (Clinton/Washington). The place was clean. There is a good natural foodstore close M La Fayette
A bit small bed for two... ( good bathroom, kitchenette, wifi, tv, etc).
We surely will keep good memories of our stay in Brooklyn!
We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Khalid's appartment. From the first message on he was very friendly and welcoming. When we arrived at his place he had even shopped some groceries for us to make us feel at home right on. Which we did. The place was very clean and cozy. And the best: it is located about 100 meter away from the next subway station, from where the C train takes you all over Manhattan or to other parts in Brooklyn. If we went to NYC again, we would definetely stay at his place again. Thank you Khalid!
Great little apartment for my wife and me. We were visiting our kids nearby, and needed a place to stay due to a remodel that was starting in their house. Khalid made it easy. Everything was as promised. He gets our highest recommendation.
