  • It was very fun staying with Pia and Dean. They made us feel quickly at home and answered all our questions in order to get ourselves comfortable. They had great knowledge of the neighboring vineyards. When we returned each night they had a interesting program or concert on the TV and that was nice to relax to. The beds we comfortable, the coffee plentiful, and ther shower devine! Thanks again!

  • We really enjoyed our family visit to Sonoma Valley and our stay with Pia and Dean at Casafina over Halloween. A gorgeous home, tastefully decorated with a great backyard - all topped with the hospitality of our gracious hosts. The layout is nice, with the two bedrooms and bath on one end of the house. Pia made sure that we had everything we needed, gave great recommendations and provided a lovely breakfast (and champagne!). The boys really enjoyed talking cars with Dean and spending evenings outside by the fire. Our only regret - that the visit was too short - there is so much to do and see in the area! We would highly recommend staying at Casafina and would love to return - maybe for the Crush and Tomato festival next year!

  • I recently traveled to Sonoma Valley with my fiancé and father for wine tasting and redwoods. Dean and Pia were excellent, welcoming hosts. Their home is gorgeous and lawn is perfectly manicured, offering a tranquil setting for morning coffee. The house was also very clean and bed was comfortable. They offer two rooms with a shared bath between the rooms, which was perfect to accommodate the three of us. My fiancé and I often have people in town who are interested in traveling to wine country, and we will absolutely stay at Dean and Pia's in the future!

  • pia and dean were wonderful, gracious hosts, and their home is stupendously beautiful. my friends and i were in town for a wedding and they were extremely accommodating of our comings and goings and late-night hours. i unfortunately got sick during the trip and pia was extremely kind and thoughtful throughout, offering me medicine and helping me get to the local clinic. their home is gorgeous and well located just outside central windsor, with comfy beds and great coffee in the morning. what more could you ask for?! thanks again, pia and dean!

  • What a wonderful experience! Pia and Dean are great, they were so generous and flexible during our 2 night stay. As some of the reviews mention, Pia provided delicious coffee and a satisfying breakfast which definitely made us feel welcomed. Their beautiful home with a charming backyard in the town of Windsor is a must see. If you are looking to catch up on some R&R while being a hop and a skip away from gorgeous wine country, Casafina is the place to be!

  • All I can say is wow -- the place is over the top amazing, you will not be disappointed. Both Dean & Pia are great hosts and their venue is fantastic.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Casafina! We felt right at home with Dean and Pia, and they even greeted us with a chilled bottle of champagne. Their home is beautiful and spacious, but we actually spent more time outside in the backyard--we had to pry the guys away from the hammocks. Our two rooms were clean and across the house from the master bedroom, so we had a sense of privacy as well. The location was also very convenient for us, as downtown Healdsburg is just a 10 minute drive.

Pia was kind enough to prepare breakfast (yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee) for us, and Dean showed us his beautiful 1973 Triumph convertible. They both went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and it's clear they enjoy meeting new people and sharing their home. We would all love to stay again at Casafina the next time we spend a weekend in Healdsburg.

  • Would give them 6 stars if there would a button for such. Amazing! One of the best hosts I've ever met. Pia and Dean are extremely welcoming and friendly making all of us feel complete at will. We had to turn down an offering of Proseco upon arrival (we were doing a race the next day) only to be greeted the following day with a very tasty bottle of Korbel champagne. Pia does the best apple pie you'll ever eat (apples grown in their garden), a breakfast of yummie fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, coffee, etc, made everything that much better. She even went to the trouble of arranging a cozy tiny bed for the little girl in our party. The house is really fantastic, spacious, spotless and tasteful, you can see the care Dean has put in the huge garden in the backside. Both go out of their way to make us feel as good as possible. Really nice to chat and share travel stories, book opinions or just plain life experiences. 100% recommendable!

  • I stayed at Casafina with my girlfriend and another couple after touring some wineries, and it was perfect! Dean and Pia were warm and welcoming and struck the perfect balance between being friendly hosts and giving us some privacy to catch up with our friends. The location was perfect-just a quick drive from a winery we visited-and the house and spacious yard were beautiful. There's even a gourmet grocery store nearby where we picked up some food for dinner. Dean and Pia were gracious enough to let us use their grill, and we enjoyed dinner and wine outside in their well kept yard. They even provided us with a delicious breakfast and coffee. We would definitely stay again, and I would highly recommend this place and its hosts!
