I stayed with Dean and Pia one night this past weekend and cannot speak more highly of them and their place. The home was true to the listing (if not better), and full of incredibly homey, well decorated rooms that instantly made me and my friends feel at ease. Dean and Pia were accommodating with our arrival time, and greeted us by slicing us up watermelon and encouraging us to enjoy the nice weather in their (beautiful, expansive, and hammock-laden) back yard. They gave us excellent recommendations for vineyards and restaurants in the area, and in the morning put out an incredible breakfast spread. I felt like I was home. I would definitely recommend this listing and these incredible hosts to others.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dean and Pia. The accommodations were exactly as described and they welcomed us as if we were family. Pia and Dean prepared breakfast, coffee & espresso for us in the morning and we sat for a long time and had a really nice conversation. They also gave us several suggestions on local wineries to visit. We really loved the beautiful back yard which has many comfy chairs and several hammocks (we really loved the hammocks!). My wife and Dean had some nice discussions about the gardening which Dean does himself. We were sad when it came time to leave this little paradise and our new friends. Thanks Dean & Pia!
I had the pleasure of being hosted by Dean and Pia on a weekend trip to Napa. I was traveling with friends and we needed a place to stay overnight that allowed easy access to the wineries in Napa and Sonoma. Pia was extremely prompt with all communication during the rental process and very kind in providing detailed instructions on the area and how to go about planning a trip.
On the day of our check-in again, Pia was prompt with SMS messages and follow ups. We ran late during our day in Napa and did not make it to their home in Sonoma until late in the evening. Dean and Pia were both up to welcome us into their beautiful home. They ushered us in and gave us detailed instructions about the house and made sure we were comfortable before calling it a night.
The next morning, our hosts were up before we were and we found a lovely breakfast waiting for us. Pia had laid a spread for us, and was the perfect hostess. Dean was very kind to give us a walk around the property and the stories that went with it. Dean and Pia are wonderful people with rich experiences and a wonderful set of life lessons. We spent quite some time that morning getting to know them better, and acquiring what I believe to be friends for a lifetime. Pia, ever the thoughtful hostess, printed out a map of the Alexander Valley wine region and provided us with instructions on how to go about planning our wine tasting that afternoon. We left with warm memories and a heavy heart, and a distinct longing to be back to see our friends again. The Napa-Sonoma area in Northern California is a place to build wonderful memories. Getting to stay with Dean and Pia will most definitely be the highlight of ours. We still reminisce about the little time we got to spend with them.
They embody everything that AirBnB experience has to offer.
We had a wonder experience staying at Pia and Dean's home. They are incredible hosts. They accommodated us when we getting in late and leaving in the wee hours of the morning. They even offered to make us breakfast in the morning. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay! Thank you again.
Four of us stayed over a Saturday night in Windsor and Dean Page was our host. Pia was out of town. Dean welcome us into his lovely home and gave us a tour, both inside and out. Inside, the home was very nice, super clean and very up to date. Outside, the back yard was beautiful with a perfect lawn and gorgeous flowers and trees. They live on a cul de sac in a great neighborhood.
Dean was very friendly and made us feel quite at home. He set out a great breakfast with cereal, fresh strawberries, blueberries, etc. and multiple juices, breads and bakery goods.
Both bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean, large and had a great shower. Our stay couldn't have gone better. We will definitely be back when we visit the wine country again.
We had an excellent stay with Dean and Pia! They were great hosts, and they have a beautiful house and yard. The two rooms were very comfortable and clean, and also very private and quiet. The common spaces are nice, and we really liked the breakfast as well. Dean and Pia's backyard garden, which is open to guests, is a great place to relax, with many hammocks! Dean and Pia are very friendly and warm, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Thanks for a great weekend stay!
Dean & Pia have a huge and amazing house in an upscale neighborhood. Hospitality is definitely in their blood, as they give us perfect tips for wine tasting, made an incredible breakfast and even offered us a ride to downtown Windsor. The backyard is a great place to chill out and the bed/bathrooms are fantastic. A recommendation for everybody! Thanks Dean & Pia for giving us such a great time.
