The house was very nice and exactly as described. The neighborhood it is located in was a little bit rough, and was not very comfortable to be around at night. Overall, the experience was quite positive though.
The description is accurate. The home is well-lit, feels recently renovated, and close to downtown Charlottesville. We were able to walk to places of interest like Bodo's Bagels and bars. There was ample street parking so that we could drive to more distant points of interest like wineries.
Meg was very attentive to our needs, checking in with us before or stay to make sure we had everything.
Overall, this was a very positive experience.
We had a great experience at the blue house! Meg's place is absolutely charming and it was very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. She is a very sweet host, having fresh cut flowers at the entrance and leaving us some delicious tomatoes from her garden. Thanks so much for having us Meg!
Great great house. My friends and I are taking ideas back with us to implement and saw Meg had already done some things we'd like to. Price-wise it is a compelling alternative to local motel options.
My friends and I used Meg's house as a gathering place for a mini-reunion weekend. The house was decorated beautifully and we enjoyed many hours there talking and catching up. It was a short, easy walk to many restaurants and we walked to breakfast and dinner both days that we were there. Meg was very responsive and helpful in suggesting restaurants to check out and local hikes in the area.
The house is beautiful, cozy and comfortable and with a very nice decoration style, the location is one of the best things too. We didn't have the chance to meet Meg but in the communication she was very nice and welcoming with us! :)
