It’s all about location! My charming, modern boutique studio lies literally a few steps away from the Danube, the Vörösmarty Square and the primary shopping street (Váci utca), within the UNESCO World Heritage Site zone of Budapest. The Basilica and the Great Synagogue are within a few minutes’ walk as well as the starting point for the Free Walking Tours, the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus tours and the boat trips on the Danube. You can also walk to the Great Market Hall, recently voted as the best Food market in Europe by CNN. The Opera, the House of Terror museum, the Heroes’ Square and the famous Széchenyi bath are all within 15 minutes by the oldest subway of Europe, leaving from Vörösmarty Square, just around the corner.
Located in an early-20th-century Bauhaus building with a gorgeous marble foyer, the apartment overlooks an inner courtyard, making it secluded and quiet - one really feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle while staying in the heart of town. With original hardwood floors, doors, windows and French balcony, staying here will make you feel like a local. It has just been refurbished and the furniture is brand new. The 34m2 apartment is comfortable for a couple, but may accommodate an additional person (or two children) on the fold-out couch. The apartment is very safe: there is a chip card to enter the building and a security key to access the apartment.
The apartment includes wireless Internet; a fully equipped kitchen (including a coffee maker and a toaster), a washing machine; a flat-screen television with cable; a bathroom with a hairdryer; separate toilets; and an iron and board. Clean linen and towels are provided for each guest - depending on the length of stay, they are changed on a weekly basis. When furnishing the apartment, I remembered all my experiences in my staying in hotels throughout the world and took into account all the things I loved or hated. So, I made sure that you can read by the reading lamp, the bathroom has enough shelves for toiletries, towels are soft, an electric converter and umbrellas are provided and so on. I made sure that the apartment was somewhere any guest would love to stay in and feel like a home away from home
Upon booking, I will send you a copy of my “Apartment Guide,” with plenty of information on the neighborhood. As I traveled in 103 countries, I have a very good idea what visitors would want to know in a foreign country!:-) A grocery store is across the street and there are many cafés, restaurants, bureau de change, ATMs close by. There is a cafe in the same building where you can have breakfast or light lunch. I (or in my absence, an English-speaking friend) will show you around the apartment and point out the important services in the neighborhood. If you wish, I will be more than happy to book restaurants, theater tickets, sightseeing tours for you and give suggestions for exciting programs in town.
PRICES ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE; NO CLEANING FEES OR OTHER CHARGES!
Check-in from 2 pm., check-out till 12 am.

The best experience I've ever had in airbnb, Eva is really helpfull with everything, she arragend a car to pick us up in the airport for a fairly price and she left us in the train station when we were leaving Budapest. The apartament is excelent, very clean, the best location and it has everything we needed! I definely recomend it!
Eva was very kind and prompt in her responses. She had also taken care of every possible detail (umbrellas, breakfast, snacks, maps & guide book & advise, toothbrushes, every little thing that you might need and realize you have forgotten); Her place is clean, nice and is located in the center.
Eva's place is perfect for discovering Budapest and she's a great host!
We spent five days around New Year's Eve in Budapest and the apartment is very central, so that most things can be discovered by foot. As it was rather cold, we used tram and underground a couple of times which is good as well, as Deak Ferenc Ter, Ferenciek tere or Vörösmarty tér are all close with a number of connections.
The apartment itself is equipped perfectly, with bathtub and washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine.
Eva has furthermore organised information around Budapest, with advice regarding restaurants, shops, bakeries etc. around and also mapped out a sightseeing trip that you can follow if you like. This is all very extensive, but well presented and useful. She also organised transport to/from the airport for us.
Overall, we had a good stay and would happily come another time.
Super host! Super apartement! Eva provides everything you need as a traveler. The apartment is located in city center so you can easily get around. Hope we can go back again to enjoy Budapest and meet Eva... Very recommended!!!
Eva is a very warming person and made us feel right at home in this cozy appartment. She gave us great advice and we could ask everything we wanted. Maps and everything were printed out aswell as alot of guidebooks. She also told us we could email or call her whenever we wanted and for a small fee (about half of what the a regular taxi charges) she brought us to the airport.
The appartment is in a great neighborhood and we enjoyed it thoroughly. There is a bakery and a small supermarkt within a three-minute walking distance. Set right next to the main shoppingstreet but still quiet. Also, the appartment was spotless and felt quite spatious.
Definitely a great appartment and a wonderful hostess. If we return to Budapest we would absolutely return to this place.
We enjoyed our staying at eva's flat!
The location is perfect and also the flat itself. Eva is charming and so helpful!
I am from Hungary, living in Budapest. I am an economist and love to travel - I have been so far in 104 countries and plan to visit all:-) I am fond of Budapest and will try my best that you fall in love with our capital as well!:-)
