Villa Rena is a "country style", all on one level building, in a tropic garden, full of olive trees, pinus, palm trees, yuccas, hydrangeas, fragrant jasmine, roses and an abundance of flowers and trees that are lovingly maintained by "yaya" (grandmother) Rena.
There is a pool of 60 sq m , with min. depth of 0.90 m and a max. of 1.90 m.
By entering the house, you are in the living space of 70 sq m, which is siting room, dining room with a table that comfortably seats eight, and an fully-functional kitchen with dish washer machine, refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, kettle etc.
The bedrooms are 4 (the size of 3m x 3m), simply furnished, the 3 of them with two single beds each and one with double bedroom. There are two spacious bathrooms, both with bathtub (both have a shower over bath, wash basin and w.c).
Villa Rena will appeal to those seeking a tranquil green oasis far from the holiday crowds. That makes this property a good - yet quiet - option for families with children.
Is situated in the Chalikouna area, an unspoilt corner in the south west of Corfu and is just one kilometre from Lake Korisson which is a nature reserve, well-known as a stop for migrating birds and for its variety of orchids and wild flowers that can be seen in early summer.
The place is a serenity, fresh, familly house with all you need to have a "good time" in countryside, at a still virgin place in cosmopolitan Corfu, with a perfect privacy. It is recommended to have (rent) a car (small 4x4 will be the best for Corfu). The beaches near by the house are some of the best in Ionian sea. There are a lot of tavernas to explore (ask us informations, any time). For the "walkers" the area will be unforgetable.
The nearby village of Ag Mathaios is one of the oldest, traditional villages in Corfu, no touristic place, with the local cafes, markets, tavernas and full of "local life".
Moraitika village is a contemporary tourist village. There are super markets, shops, night life, pharmacies, doctors etc.
There is connection with Corfu town with the "green buses" ((website hidden) it : ktelkerkyras).
*Don't forget to visit Corfu's old town (Corfu is not only amazing, crystal clear water beaches, but present a remarkable history and culture), especially, the evening time, and have a drink in "Spianada" square!
We think that our place will offer you a relaxing, serenity time, after the "all day running for surviving" . We 'll be next to you for having a "good time" . Contact us.
RESPECT TO THE FAMILY HOUSE.

Our vacation at the Villa Rena were wonderful. Home imbued with the spirit of Greece tradition. The villa is located in the midst of a beautiful garden. Location of the villa is very convenient. Nicholas and his family members are very responsive, attentive and hospitable.
The villa is great, especially the amazing garden. We had great time. The hosts are very kind and helpful. :)
Hi! We had a great experience with Nikos and his wife. The house is great, like in the pictures and the garden is offering a relaxing atmosphere. We met Nikos for the fist time when we arrived with the ferry in Lefkimi, he was very kind to show as the road to the house. We really enjoyed Prasoudi Beach and Halikounas Beach(around 2 km from the house). I hope that we will come back for a trip in Corfu. Thank you, Nikos for being such a great host!
My partner and I rented villa Rena on 25-29 August 2014 and everything about our stay was a real pleasure. Nikos and Spyridoula made every effort to make our stay a memorable one. As we hadn't rented a car they offered to pick us up from the airport and take us to the house. On the way to house they drove us around to show us the best beaches and restaurants in the area. They also stopped to buy a map of the island for us and pointed out places we could visit. They made sure that the fridge was stocked with bread, eggs, vegetables from the garden, juice etc.
Nikos and Spyridoula were also extremely helpful in trying to get a good car hire deal for us (although we ended up not hiring a car in the end). The house was very roomy and the pool area was just excellent. The house is just a ten minute walk from a great little sandy beach which not many people seem to know about. The local tavernas have phenomenal views and serve excellent fresh food. When our stay finished, Nikos and Spyridoula, who live on the north side of the island, where incidentally we were going next on our Corfu trip, offered to take us with them in their car. On the trip from the south of the island to north they drove us around Corfu town and told us about the various sights. They also went out of their way to help us find our new house (including calling our new hosts to get proper directions in Greek). From the outset Nikos has responded to all of my questions very quickly. We give Nikos and Spyridoula our very best recommendations. You couldn't wish for better hosts!
We've been in Villa Rena in July/August 2014. The place is great. Lots of plans giving shadow, nice pool (thanks for the cleaning), and fully equipped house.
Nikos sent us list of places to eat, things/places to see around us, so it kept us reasonably busy, and, as a goodbye gift, we received great cake from his wife.
All in all - if you like Greece - you'll love Villa Rena.
