Susan was a wonderful host who communicated with me before, during and after our stay. I appreciated her attention to details in regard to the house and instructions on what was available there to use during our 2 day stay. The house was accurately described and just what we needed during our time spent at Notre Dame to move our son back home after the semester. We were able to sit outside and relax one evening on her patio and enjoyed some down time in a cozy spot. Very close to campus and not far from many other parts of South Bend to explore as well. Despite having a minor maintenance issue while we were there, Susan addressed the issue with professionalism and attentiveness. We felt comfortable here during our stay and would return another time!

I am a professor at Indiana University in South Bend. I teach photography in a small art department. I travel a fair amount. I lead a study abroad program with a group of students from IU to Florence, Italy. I speak just a little Italian. I am also studying French now. I have been to many parts of the continental US. I am partial to the midwest and the Third Coast. If you are in South Bend to visit the Golden Dome, cheer on the Irish or their opponent, or for a specific research project, let me know. I am happy to host. And if I am in your town, I will look on this site first for a unique place to stay.
