Great house, in early '60s design, in very convenient location for access to ND campus. Bed very comfortable, small desk for computer work. Susan is an easygoing, friendly, accommodating host. Bathroom is across hall, shower is excellent!
Susan was a great host: she was friendly and I felt very welcome! The house is very clean and close enough to bike to Notre Dame, which was perfect. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in South Bend.
Susan was out of town when I arrived, but everything in the house was spotless and ready for me. Susan's home is lovely, and the guest bed very comfy. I very much appreciate having the use of the Keurig, as well as the washer and dryer, although I did not have the chance to make use of the latter. The house is also VERY close to Notre Dame and St. Mary's College, which was great. I got to meet Susan when she got back at the end of my trip, and she made me feel very welcome and comfortable in her home. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in South Bend!
Susan was out of town when we stayed, but it was a very smooth process to find the house and get situated. She even made up an extra bed for my Dad. Everything was as expected and very clean. It was a wonderful location for visiting Notre Dame's campus!
Susan was very accommodating. The room was clean, air conditioned, and the bikes she had were perfect for getting to and from the ND campus. The house is a bit of a walk to go eat, but that's why I loved having the bikes so much. I would definitely stay with Susan again.
Susan was an excellent host. Me and my girlfriend needed a place near Notre Dame for couple of days and Susan's was a perfect fit. The room was superclean and Susan was very accomodating and communicative. Highly recommend!
I take my daughter to visit U. Notre Dame. We spend in Susan's home for 3 nights. It is very close to U. Notre Dame. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean. The room is small so that my daughter does her work in the dining room. Great host and great room. Will recommend to anyone who will visit South Bend.
About the Host, Susan
I am a professor at Indiana University in South Bend. I teach photography in a small art department. I travel a fair amount. I lead a study abroad program with a group of students from IU to Florence, Italy. I speak just a little Italian. I am also studying french now. I have been to many parts of the continental US. I am partial to the midwest and the Third Coast. If you are in South Bend to visit the Golden Dome, cheer on the Irish or their opponent, or for a specific research project, let me know. I am happy to host. And if I am in your town, I will look on this site first for a unique place to stay.
