Susan was an excellent host. Me and my girlfriend needed a place near Notre Dame for couple of days and Susan's was a perfect fit. The room was superclean and Susan was very accomodating and communicative. Highly recommend!
I take my daughter to visit U. Notre Dame. We spend in Susan's home for 3 nights. It is very close to U. Notre Dame. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean. The room is small so that my daughter does her work in the dining room. Great host and great room. Will recommend to anyone who will visit South Bend.
Susan was great! The room was lovely and she was really easy to communicate with. She was also very accommodating when I had a bit of a schedule change. I would definitely recommend staying at Susan's!
Susan was a great host and very accommodating! The home and room were perfect and were as described in the listing. I would recommend the room/home to anyone looking for a place in South Bend. I will be staying there again when I am in town.
This was my first airbnb experience. Susan made me feel completely at home and relaxed in her home. I initially arrived after dark and greatly appreciated the lighting Susan provided for my arrival, knowing she was not going to be home to greet me. I enjoyed the authenticness of the 1960s home and the wonderful bathtub. I wish I had had more time to enjoy her patio. My experience was so good I am now looking for another reason to use airbnb. I will stay with Susan in the future if the opportunity arises. Her home has a great location for getting around the north side of town.
I was only at Susan's for about 9 hours, because I just needed a place to stay for the night before a mini-conference at Notre Dame. She was accommodating and friendly, and the room fit my needs perfectly. If you need a place for night in Notre Dame, I recommend Susan's.
Susan was an excellent host. Her home was comfortable and clean and the room and location were perfect for my stay. Susan was very accommodating and low key. I would definitely stay here again!
About the Host, Susan
I am a professor at Indiana University in South Bend. I teach photography in a small art department. I travel a fair amount. I lead a study abroad program with a group of students from IU to Florence, Italy. I speak just a little Italian. I am also studying french now. I have been to many parts of the continental US. I am partial to the midwest and the Third Coast. If you are in South Bend to visit the Golden Dome, cheer on the Irish or their opponent, or for a specific research project, let me know. I am happy to host. And if I am in your town, I will look on this site first for a unique place to stay.
