Beautiful house very well located in the heart of Albayzín, in the historical city centre. Ideal for visiting the city on foot as it is very close to major attractions, nice bars, shopping etc. .. the distance from home to the Cathedral is about 10 minutes walk. the bars and tapas Albayzín is a few meters from the house and the bars noctruna is 5 minutes walk.
The picturesque neighborhood of Albayzín has been declared a UN World Heritage Site.
The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room with fireplace and dining room, kitchen, outdoor patio and terrace overlooking the wall and Zirid Albayzín.This house is very warm in winter and fresh in summer cause theis walls are made of rock and keep it warm the whole year, anyway, it has electric radiators in the bedrooms and bathrooms
It is accessible by car and park on the slope Alhacaba (a few meters from the house). The other option of free parking is about 150 meters from the Mirador de San Cristobal, there is a large area where you can leave the car.
*I don,t reconmend this house to people with mobility problems
Check-in and check-out hours are flexible

El Mirador de San Cristóbal is perfect to show the traveler the unique charm of the city of Granada
From here we can see the old wall Zirid, built in the eleventh century to protect the fortress
From the lookout you can clearly see the large urban design: first the upper town, represented by Albayzín, and another, lower level City also began to occupy the same time Zirid, as evidenced by the fact that the Mosque, the eleventh century, to rise in what is now the cathedral and church of the Blessed Sacrament. Further east, the imposing spectacle of the Moorish Alhambra, framed by the great backdrop of Sierra Nevada
Defensive wall above the windows we see the Palace of al-Horra Dal (the house of the lady honored), built in the fifteenth century. It was the residence of the wife of the Sultan, then ejecting the Palace to the Sultan of love with a young Christian captive.
Behind the Mansion stands the Convent of Santa Isabel La Católica, founded by Queen Elizabeth after the conquest of the city.
Behind the gazebo, the Church of San Cristobal, which was in his day mosque, whose bell corresponds to the minaret somewhat enlarged
You may walk up to the viewpoint from Albayzín Alhacaba up the hill (which begins at the Arc de Elvira) and having left the picturesque stone steps known as Cuesta de San Cristobal
Meeting point for the inhabitants of the Albaicin district, shopping and games. This area reflects the pulse albayzinero, mixing the charm of its small community and warmth. In Long Square and its major tributaries, which are Water Street and the street Bakers can buy everything. Also contributes to this market that is installed in the plaza, as lively souk in the city
A cave in the middle Albaycín Granada, within walking distance of the best areas of Granada from the Alhambra, the Albaycin or center of Granada with wonderful views of the old city wall.
In addition to all the amenities you can enjoy a great patio, quiet and cool where you can enjoy garden furniture, plants, fruit and jasmine, can sit outside to enjoy spring and summer Granada.
Blanca was very attentive to our arrival. Because she was busy she made sure the housekeeper, Mary met us at the appropriate time. Check out was easy as well. We had some difficulties with the house, but Blanca was very responsive to them. It's very important here to have a cell phone so that you can make contact when needed.
The house itself is very interesting. It really is a cave and provides for a unique living experience in a great neighborhood. Because it is a cave, it is a little damp. I am guessing this makes for a great summer home. We were comfortable enough here and there was a heater in the living room when it got a little cold. Our challenges were, I think, specific to our situation. One of us has trouble walking and this house is located in the Albacin where it's essential that you climb stairs and walk about ten minutes to get to Plaza Largo. For me, it was perfect. For my friend it was difficult because of the walking. Also, I would recommend this home for those who have light luggage. The best thing about this place, I think, is its location and the opportunity to stay in a house that is truly unique to this area.
Super cute cave with 2 bedrooms, 1 en suite, and another one with a bathroom just outside the door. As you might expect, this is unusual accommodation so do not expect it to be like your flat or a hotel and do not expect polished finishes BUT it is great. It is clean, it is charming and it is in the loveliest neighbourhood Granada has, the Albaycin.
Blanca is really friendly and kind. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
This place was beautiful and the location ideal. We were tucked into the neighborhood, yet close to the great views of the city. The Alhambra was in walking distance, and the train station only a quick taxi ride away. The house was a unique and lovely place. Yes, it is damp and cool, as the other comments mention, for it is like staying in a cave. It is perfect for two couples or a family. We cooked some of our own meals in the well stocked kitchen, purchasing fresh eggs and vegetables from the market in the plaza down the road.
