Badawi Loft is in the Badawi side of Armenia Street at the end of the funky Mar Mikhael neighborhood. You are a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and nightlife but removed just enough from the bustle to get a good night's sleep.

The space
Hello, Rouf here. My job is to make sure your stay in Beirut is as easy and comfortable as possible. First time to town? Let me know and I will make sure you eat, play and live like a local Beiruti. Beirut is a city of wonders and I can help you uncover many of its hidden gems.

Welcome to Badawi Loft: A thoughtfully renovated open loft in a vintage Lebanese building. The space juxtaposes old and new elements in effortless harmony to create a zen getaway is the colorful Mar Mikhael neighborhood of Beirut. Although slightly off the beaten tourist path, you are steps away from the best bakery (Tusk), Café (Kalei) and restaurant (Tawlet) in town. You will also find tons of hidden gems in your immediate vicinity such as a traditional copper artisans, an abandoned rail track and a small store that restores the coolest modernist design finds.

The space includes:

- A large living area with a comfortable L shaped couch and a dining table with six chairs
- A stainless steel open kitchen with an oven and a four eye cooktop. This kitchen is fully equipped with tools and toys required for a cooking enthusiast to whip up a gourmet meal
- A Nespresso machine and a french press in case you don’t travel without your coffee. Otherwise, instant coffee is always provided
- A powder room so you don’t have to share your private bathroom with any of your guests
- A desk in the sleeping area to read, write or simply catch up on all your emails
- A mix of furniture comprising of emerging Lebanese designers pieces and others by local artisans
- Vintage Lebanese cinema posters, an Azilal Moroccan rug and other curios collected over years of travel and hoarding
- Very reliable wifi internet
- Power generator subscription for continuous power during outages- ( Generator does not power AC during daily 3hr power cut)
- Washer/Dryer
- Window blinds: All the windows in the sleeping area are equipped with remote controlled black-out and sunscreen blinds.
- Tons and tons of extraordinary natural light

Other things to note
The Loft is a two floor walk up. Don't worry though someone will always be there to help you with your bags.

If you plan on checking in after 21:00 (9pm) then a fee of LBP 10,000 (~$6) should be paid to the person that greets you unless I send you my taxi driver with the keys.
