Relax and Enjoy Rainbow Hills!
Keith and Steve made us feel very welcome. We loved staying with them - they are helpful, gracious, and upbeat. We had great conversations, and enjoyed learning about their lives and travels. The room is very comfortable, and the house and neighborhood are beautiful. We could not have had a better stay in the area. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay with Keith and Steve!! They were great about communicating with us for the whole process. They were both so welcoming and kind our whole trip. Whenever we saw them they always made a point to check in with us and see if we needed anything. The room was very clean and comfortable :) we slept great for both nights! If we were to visit Sonoma county in the future I would love to stay with Keith and Steve!
Wonderful hosts! Absolutely charming home & family. Very thoughtful couple. Highly recommended!
Keith and Steve were very welcoming hosts. It was our first time in the Santa Rosa and they have us great tips on where to eat. The place was beautiful and it looked exactly like the pictures posted. Keith even made us breakfast with his farm fresh eggs and fresh figs from his garden. Thank you so much again for hosting us and we look forward to meeting you again!
I've airbnb'd all over the world, but this was my first time doing a private room. So I don't have a lot of experience with it or past reference stays. I'd say overall Keith's place is pretty great. It's in a beautiful location and they were incredibly generous and helpful from my arrival which was late at night after a very long drive, to every day stuff, like coffee and yogurt in the morning.
I'm quite certain that if you're going to visit wine country then this is a great spot, with an incredible view. Deer always around.
I wasn't there specifically for that, so for me, the price (for a room) seemed a bit high, versus a bit more for a complete home where I felt more at home…
That being said, they did make me feel at home in my room and there is a private (and very nice) bathroom. They do the little things that make a place nice. Leave fresh towels out, coffee, new toothpaste, some organic fresh from the garden soup, toast and homemade apple pear butter -- just nice things.
I'd definitely come back -- to visit and enjoy the area and not to work! If you read the guest book, its obvious they are great hosts for those that come into their home.
Staying with Keith and Steve far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we were greeted so warmly and with such sincerity.
Their home and the surrounding area was beautiful....the pictures didn't do it justice. So much thought, love and attention to detail was put into their home, and that carries through to the room that they have for their guests. I can't recommend staying with them enough. You won't be disappointed.
My boyfriend and I were in Santa Rosa for the 4th year in a row for a bike race. That being said, we've stayed in multiple hotels in the area.
Staying with Keith and Steve was simply amazing. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they made us feel so welcome in their home. We felt like we had known them for years. After Keith found out why we were in town, and what we were interested in, he gave us recommendations of places to ride our bikes, restaurants, wineries, breweries and more. We weren't able to hit everything on the list, but what we did was fantastic. They also left out beach towels and waters and warmed up the hot tub the night before our long bike ride - very thoughtful. I could list more, but this review would become a novel;)
The room is very clean and beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and linens, as well as snacks, water and wifi access. The bathroom is also very nice and clean and appointed with extras if you've forgotten anything. Very soft plush towels, too. Jack and Tina (the dogs) are incredibly sweet. The area is very quiet and peaceful, but also close to Santa Rosa and Healdsburg. All you hear in the morning are the hens clucking as they run around the chicken coop. And the views from their kitchen and deck are just gorgeous!
We will certainly stay with Keith and Steve again - forget hotels!
