Lovely bungalow with beautiful views and fireplace. It's a wonderful romantic getaway. It includes a large 250 sq. ft. balcony. The bungalow is about 30 steps up from street level. The living area is quite large with full bathroom and shower. A closet for clothing and storage along with a microwave, hot water kettle and a small refrigerator are included. There is no formal cooking area! There are 2 skylights which also open from the living area. There are two large picture windows which offer expansive views. The property is gated with a digital combination lock for security. Street parking is available. Cable TV is provided along with surround sound stereo and a DVD player. There is also Wi-Fi connection for the internet. There is a lot of art and beautiful furniture to give you a sense of comfort and warmth. Lush vegetation surrounds the property that will make you feel that you are in the midst of nature. Rest under the French gazebo or stretch out on the hammock. it's all waiting for you.
Although the bungalow is close to Cal Poly, I typically walk downtown which is less than 2 miles and takes about 25 minutes, on a mostly flat city streets. Driving time is 5 minutes or less. I have been putting up musicians and artists passing through San Luis Obispo for years and have had many great experiences, with my guests! My goal is to make you comfortable and happy during your stay in San Luis Obispo!
Thank you for considering me in your search for a great place to stay.
This is a NO SMOKING and Drug free property!
NO PETS PLEASE! Even for a visit!
The bungalow is intended for use of registered guests only. It is not intended for parties or gatherings of people that are not staying in the unit. I want it to be a quiet, restful experience for my guests and myself!
Thank you for your consideration.
Jeff was most welcoming and we enjoyed our short visit with him. We were in town to visit family. The bungalow is very comfortable and a convenient location. We hope to stay again on our next visit.
Jeff was very welcoming! He invited my boyfriend and I into his home to check out his unique artifacts from all over the world. He made sure we had all that we needed and felt at home. His neighborhood was very cute, right next to campus. The bungalow was perfect - tucked up behind the house for our own getaway. Nothing I would change - a perfect first Air BNB experience
Steve and I had a wonderful stay at Jeff's art filled bungalow. It's a spacious unit in a quiet and tranquil backyard near the SLO campus and within walking distance to coffee and restaurants. We enjoyed the nearby biking and walking routes. Jeff was quick to respond to all information requests and very respectful of our privacy. Two thumbs up with the hope of returning sometime in the future.
Our stay at the bungalow was a weekend of memories we will hold onto a long while. The bungalow was as described and pictured. Everything was picture perfect in an eclectic shabby elegant fashion. If you are looking for Holiday Inn, or Motel 6 give the bungalow a pass.
Jeff is a host of open friendly gracious courtesy. We are looking to find another opportunity to visit SLO and stay another few days in Jeff's bungalow.
Jeff was a fantastic host. Not only did he provide us with a beautiful place to stay, he went out of his way to make our stay memorable. One of the best evenings of our trip was spent chatting with Jeff and his lovely partner Sky! If you are looking for an above par accommodation with interesting and knowledgable hosts, stay at the Beautiful Bungalow!
Jeff is a warm and friendly host who was really helpful in helping us get settled in. He gave me really useful suggestions about where to run in the area, and he keeps pamphlets of the SLO area in the bungalow that are filled with ideas for day trips. The bungalow itself is warm, cozy, and spacious, and has a gorgeous view. The furnishings are beautiful, and the refrigerator was great for keeping leftovers in when we came back from eating at one of the many tasty restaurants in the area. When we left on our road trip south to LA, Jeff recommended that we take CA 154 for the scenery, and it was fantastic. The view of the ocean was incredible, and his advice was great. You should definitely consider staying here if you're ever in the SLO area.
