This was my first Airbnb experience and it went very well. I felt completely comfortable living with Cathy and I enjoyed having a cozy and comfortable room to come home to after a day in London. Slept great and next morning I had a very delicious breakfast everyday. I would definitely recommend this host.
If I can, return soon!
Really nice room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast - if I need a place to stay in London I would definitely come back again!
House was easy to find and I was welcomed very friendly :)
Julia and Ian are lovely people. The room was cozy and had everything I wanted. Walthamstow was surprisingly charming and conveniently located for getting into the city (s Cross including walking from the house to Walthamstow Central). I would not hesitate to stay with Julia and Ian again!
Nice, quite room - warm welcome and an easy going check-in :-) - including breakfast and all the space in the house at your disposal.
It's close to the tube which takes you in less than 20 min to St. Pancras, and all facilities are around the corner. With their upfront travel information it's a piece of cake to find your way. They even have a EU power adapter, in case you have forgotten to bring it with you.
Julia and Ian are wonderful people, staying at their place was much better than a hotel would have been. The room is quiet and comfortable, the breakfast is great, the entire house is very nice.
Next time I go to London, I will stay there!
It was my first air bnb experience and it was great. Whenever I come back to London I'll be staying at Julia and Ian's.They made me feel very at home, Ian even took me to a local pub for a bit of jazz! Their house is not far away from the tube station and is very easy to find. I'd recommend their place to anyone who's looking for a place to stay in London.
What a wonderful stay! Julia and Ian are very good hosts who have always a nice story to tell from their interesting live. You feel immediately like home and I can highly recommend this place for everybody going to London. The connection to central london is fast, the neighboourhood quite safe. There are nice places around incuding galeries, indian restaurants, cafes, pubs etc. The nearby Walthamstow Village has true village character, somewhat comparable to Hamstead village.
Julia and Ian offered a comfortable room , convenient to the underground and London locations, and breakfast to boot !
This was a nice chance to chat with the hosts for an enjoyable stay..
Julia and Ian’s home is incredibly nice and heartwarming. This was my final airbnb visit (4th of four) for my recent vacation to Europe. Their home is well maintained, organized, clean, and very inviting with a cup of English tea waiting. I have a couple of regrets however, which were 1) that my visit was way too short (only three nights) and 2) that I wished I could have had more time to get to know both Julia and Ian, who I find to be truly remarkable people and who share many beliefs about caring of other people in the world and of attempting to help save our local and global environments.
On my final night, Julia and Ian invited me to have dinner with them at a local Indian restaurant, in which a friend of theirs sung and played the guitar (he was incredible to say the least especially with a couple of James Taylor songs). I was touched and moved. Hopefully, they consider me a friend as I do them. I highly recommend Julia and Ian’s home for your next airbnb reservation in London.
