Thanks Julia and Ian for hosting me. It makes me feel like home. Staying with them provided me with the opportunities to learn more about British culture and traditions. Walthamstow is a nice community and Julia and Ian's place is just in a few minutes' walk to the tube/bus station and the town center area with lots of shops, restaurants and the market.
Julia and Ian's house was a warm place. The room was small, but cozy and clean. The washroom was next to the room, so could use the toilet without any waste of time. The neighborhood was quite quiet and friendly. Whenever i asked a stranger how to get to somewhere, they answered me with a lovely smile. The breakfast Julia provided was also awesome. Particularly I can' forget the orange marmalade jam! :-) I suppose there have been many visitors from all over the world, since they showed me a rule to keep written even in "KOREAN!" They said the tourists helped them translate the english rule to their own language. Anyway, i spent 5 days very comfortably. Sadly, as you know, Walthamstow is in zone 3, and it will take more money to use the tube or bus to go to the central London. Nevertheless, with the hosts' kindness and warm-hearted manners, I strongly recommend this tiny single room. Finally, thank you for serving me for 5 days, Julia and Ian! It was a wonderful time to stay with you.
Host was friendly and kind, gave me lots of information about London and made breakfast for me. Was a pleasant stay
Julia and Ian were lovely hosts, any questions I had they were more than willing to help. The room was small but nice and cosy. I enjoyed the stay very much and would recommend for anybody visiting London.
I have spent a very pleasant stay with Julia and Ian. They have been both very helpful and welcoming.
The room is small but very comfortable and I slept very well.
The location is very convenient to go to London centre.
Julia & Ian's place was everything I expected and more. I had a great time staying with them and enjoyed the breakfast provided (especially Ian's homemade bread!) The location is ideal, near to the tube, buses and stores. They are also very friendly & warm people, showing me around the house, garden and gave great tips on where to go.
I had the best stay with Julia and Ian, they couldn't have been friendlier! The house is lovely and very conveniently located for tube and buses. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Even though the single room was very small, it had a very comfortable bed. When the weather was warm and sunny we had breakfast in their lovely garden. Thank you Julia & Ian!
