A cozy, stylish 4 bed, 1 bath home in downtown Cable with room for the family. Our house is fully stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay. We have a kids' nook with toys and books and all the kid and baby gear. Room for skis & bikes in the basement makes it a great spot for people coming up to take advantage of all the outdoor opportunities Cable has to offer. There is a large deck with furniture in the backyard, a small playground, fire pit and mature apple trees on a 1/2 acre lot.

The space
We have 4 bedrooms: 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Upstairs has a twin bedroom, king bedroom and queen bedroom. Each of these rooms has a small closet, dresser and nightstand. The downstairs bedroom has a double futon and a desk and chair for a dedicated workspace. This room also has a sliding door to the deck and backyard.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. Small appliances include a stand mixer, toaster and microwave, kettle and coffee brewing gear.

The living room has a large L shaped sofa and a big chair. There is a closet that has become the "kid nook" with some books and toys that are appropriate for babies, toddlers and young kids. Please be aware that some of the toys may be choking hazards for babies and to filter out the toys you don't want for your child. We have a lot of baby and kid gear available. We typically keep it in the basement but would be happy to bring it up before your arrival. Please let us know what you'd like, there is a full list in the info section, or you can message for a list of items.

The house is on a half-acre lot in downtown Cable. The backyard has a big deck, mature fruit trees, a little playground and a fire pit.

The house stairs are steeper, and the upper railing is wider than current code. Please be aware.

The laundry is in the basement. The stairs to the basement are very steep and shallow. Please be very careful. There is a door to the basement from the bathroom, we have put a baby gate between the door to the bathroom to the basement for an added layer of pause and child safety before accessing these stairs. If you require laundry, and feel unsafe about very steep steps, please consider this before booking. There is also a laundromat one block away.

We began the process of painting the exterior and have one coat on. It will be finished as soon as the painter can get there. It looks fine, but if you're looking with a critical eye, you can tell it's just one coat.

Neighborhood highlights

Cable is a charming small town. Packed to the brim with hiking, skiing and biking trails, and a super fun bike park. We are right in downtown Cable, but a block off of the main streets. It's nice and quiet but just a block walk to our grocery store, shops, legendary River's Eatery pizza. Also just 2 blocks walking to hiking / fat biking trails. Just a few minutes drive or bike to the Birkie start and CAMBA trailheads.
