Lea was a very nice host. Although we didn't meet her in person, she answered quickly to our messages and she sent a friend of hers to welcome us at the apartment who was very nice and helpful.
The apartment was really great, it is quite large and our room was very cosy. In the kitchen there was everything you need.
The neighbourhood is very nice and safe, you walk about ten minutes to the subway station.
Lea is a nice, spontaneous and creative person. The location is near the G- train and has good connections to the bus-system. You need about 20 minutes to Williamsburg by train. Everything you need for daily life is nearby. The apartment is exceeding and especially the rooftop is stunning - I loved it! The furniture in the room are different than shown on the pictures, but still ok. There is no window in this room. Lea charged me 20$ per night/ guest, though the description says 8€ (ca 10$). I would recommend this place for a short stay, up to 2 or 3 weeks. For a long term stay, like 3 month or more ( I was living there for 10 weeks) the missing of the window and cleanliness do not legitimate the price you have to pay.
Lovely host.... wonderful experience!
Lea is a great host and her loft is amazing! The room is clean and nice and has everything you need. The rest of the loft is very spacious like in the photos. And the rooftop is so cool with a perfect view of NYC. Supermarkets, food places, the subway line, etc. are all close by.
Lea is a very kind, helpful and fun person and knows the best places in New York! I had a great time during my whole stay at Lea's (5 weeks) and I highly recommend this place for a great stay in Brooklyn!
Lea was an awesome host!! Her place was one of the coolest and artiest I've been and she gave me great tips on were to experience the real New York. I saw a nice jazz ensemble that was cooking all the way and their last piece for the night was a jazz fusion kick-ass piece that segue to a blow your mind instrumental version of "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas. You know how much that made my night.
Nice apartment, great host. Had a good time with Lea, she really cares about her guests and knows a lot about the city. Her apartment is nicely decorated and clean and I felt comfortable the whole time (2 months). I definitely recommend staying at Lea's place.
