Welcome to the “living work of art” by the universal artist Bernhard Hoetger! Our holiday apartment is located on the wooded southern slope of the Weyerberg in Worpswede and promises an art-oriented holiday in nature.

Door reliefs, ceiling paintings, sculptural wooden beams: original design elements enliven the character of the expressionist house that Hoetger built in 1922. Follow in Hoetger's footsteps and experience the harmony between art and nature in this unique accommodation!

The space
The 50 sqm holiday apartment in Worpswede for 1-4 people has a living and dining area with a pull-out sofa and fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.

From all the windows of the sculptural artist's house you can see the forest on the southern slope of the Weyerberg. The holiday apartment impresses with its coziness. Atmospheric lighting, rustic furniture, a bright bathroom and high-quality furnishings complete your vacation.

Bernhard Hoetger's works of art can be found particularly in the stairwell and of course on the entire facade. The artist house with a total of three residential units is in a secluded location on the Weyerberg, surrounded by dense forest.

The village center, Bergstrasse, can be reached on foot via the Weyerberg. The Niedersachsenstein and other central works of art by Hoetger are also within walking distance. Shops and all other facilities for daily needs can be reached in approx. 3 km.

The Hoetgerhof is located 20 km north of Bremen and can be reached via public transport (bus lines from Bremen Hbf and Osterholz-Scharmbeck Hbf).
