Peaceful area close enough to feel the old and new Tokyo.
A great and convenient location to see what Tokyo has to offer (as well as places outside of Tokyo!). My place is very cosy and you will have no trouble relaxing anywhere in my apartment! It's also in a great area close enough to feel the old and new of Tokyo.

Very friendly host and a sparkling clean place. Looks bigger in the pictures, but aint all of them do?
Hayato's snoring can raise the dead but you will not hear any if you use the earplugs he provides.
The best experience you could have staying in a cosy apartment located right next to the train station. I am a world traveler if you will and a large portion of my wonderful experience in Japan is due to Hayato. He not only gave me great travel advice but included me in a Karaoke meeting with some of his friends from different places and so much fun. He knows how to give you space but is very available for advice and even for discussions if you choose. I would recommend his very clean and comfortable space to couples or solo travelers. I consider Hayato a new friend I will keep in touch with for sure. If there were 6 stars I would give it to him and plan on sending my sister to his place later this year.
Hayato was not only an ideal host, but quickly became a good friend during our short stay in Tokyo. Our conversations flowed naturally like they do between old friends. We left wishing we had more time to get to know him and will absolutely be in touch should our travels lead back to Japan or should his travels lead to East Coast US.
I highly recommend staying with Hayato if you want a clean, comfortable accommodation and a very intelligent, insightful and humorous host to share it with. I can guarantee you will leave with a new friend :)
Hayato-san was hands down the best Airbnb host I had in Japan! His place was clean and nice. The instructions to get to his house were right on! He responded quickly to my inquiries. He spoke really good English and also was very willing to let me practice my Japanese. I learned lots of new useful expressions and updated some of my textbook-sounding Japanese with more modern and context appropriate phrases. We also had some interesting talks about Japanese and American culture. If I lived in Tokyo, I would hang out with Hayato all the time!
In addition to being an excellent Airbnb host, Hayato also runs a few really cool Meetup groups. The one I was able participate in was his Tokyo Walking Tour Meetup. It was great! There were about 20 or so people who came out. It was quite a diverse group with about half Japanese and the other half a mix of people from all over the world. Through his combined efforts through Airbnb and Meetup, I have to say that Hayato is an excellent ambassador of Japan. Anyone who stays with Hayato will come to love Japan even more!
Hayato is such a great host. He made us feel welcome immediately! He is very polite, interesting, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic karaoke night and some good conversations about Japanese culture. The area is charming and the bed comfortable.
Hayato is the ideal AirBnB host, so much so that AirBnB has profiled him as an example for other hosts! He is respectful, friendly, speaks great English, has a local and international point of view, and is willing to share his (small) apartment with total strangers! I would definitely recommend staying with Hayato if you're more interested a cultural / laid back visit to Tokyo (vs. say the late-night bar scene and stumbling home drunk).
His apartment is a bit out of the way, but nothing a 30-minute and Y160 train ride can't solve (and the neighborhood is lovely, totally worth exploring for half a day; plus an awesome though pricey sushi restaurant next door). It is a small apartment but feels airy and open with windows / balcony. I also wouldn't be concerned sharing the space with him, as he is more than accomodating / respectful.
I was transiting through and found Hayato at the last minute. Hayato is lovely, super responsive, and his space is perfect for a brief and quiet Tokyo stopover. He also runs these karaoke meetups that sound rather amazing.
Although it was my only first time using airbnb, I would really recommend staying at Hayato-san's place. He is really open-minded and easygoing person and really great one to hang out with. :)
Location and apartment is very nice too, larger than average japanese apartment. And those huge windows, I love 'em ^^'
Hayato is a very cool guy and easy going person I'd stay at his place again in a blink, he is very friendly and willing to help you out with anything you may need, hopefully I'll come back to say hi in future.
Hayato è un ragazzo molto cordiale e disponibile.
Il suo appartamento non è centrale ma si raggiunge facilmente con il treno. L'appartamento è piccolo ma confortevole.
