CANOPY VILLA (3 BEDROOMS)

Villa - Entire home/apt · Road to the Marina Pez Vela, Quepos, Puntarenas 6530, Costa Rica

The Space

The Dome is 6 meters across, with a kitchenette and bathroom annex. Very comfortable and cool, the Dome will sleep up to 3 people depending on the level of privacy you want. There is a great pillow top king bed and new quiet AC. Small table and 2 chairs. This all sits on a huge deck with a 280 view of mountains, ocean and looks down on the Las Cascadas project. There is a love seat swing and BBQ.
This is an exciting and yet peaceful spot. The monkeys have been overseeing the project from the beginning and love greeting our new guests. You will have to be in good physical shape to get up here but the walk is worth it. Don’t worry about your luggage as we will take care of that and shuttle it up on our buggy.
Just below the Dome are our 2 Canopy suites each with great views. Each suite has its own bathroom, and one has a nice terrace. Both have a double bed and a single bed and can comfortably sleep 3 people each.
This combination can be rented independently or can be rented as 1 unit to a group of up to 10 people.

  • We stayed for 12 days in the Dome Villa of Las Cascadas. Gary and his family were very kind and helpful. As were Kelsey and Jenea, his receptionists. They were so very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They even booked a majority of our adventure tours for us. They had a lovely breakfast menu especially their banana coconut pancakes. As we stayed in the Dome Villa at the top of the hill the walk was a workout. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who has troubles walking up steep areas. However, it was most definitely the nicest of the villas as the view was amazing. We were woken up by the local monkeys a few mornings. The two villages, Quepos and Manuel Antonio are the perfect getaway for a one stop shop vacation. Although please understand that the locals do not use addresses so Las Cascadas can be difficult to find. Best to ask for directions from the locals as they can guide you very easily. Most speak English. I hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

  • Las Cascadas was a great stop near Manuel Antonio with a comfy bed and a spacious room. The pool was nice and quiet and the food was really excellent. The room had a bit of a mildew-ey smell, but once the air conditioning was on it dissipated quickly. The hosts are really quite friendly and passionate about their place, taking great care to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

  • We had a nice stay at Condotel las Cascadas. The room was spacious and we especially enjoyed the pool area which we mostly had to ourselves. We were however disappointed about breakfast because it is stated on airbnb that it is included but in fact it is not and you have to pay extra (USD 7).
Staff was nice but we have certainly experienced more attentive and caring hosts in Costa Rica. For the price we had expected a little bit more...

  • Las Cascadas is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the Dome Room, which was so cozy and perfect for my husband and me. We cooked meals in the little kitchen, and the beautifully painted walls of the rounded room made it so cheerful and nice. It was awesome to be so high up on the hill; the view was just gorgeous, and we loved the privacy and secluded feel of the room. From the moment we arrived at Las Cascadas, Gary and his staff were there to greet us (in the pouring rain) and to help us with local knowledge and tips. Our luggage was taken up to the room via ATV, a huge help since it is a bit of a hike up to the Dome Room, but the hike is definitely worth it! We saw lizards and birds and bunnies and gorgeous sunsets. Also, Las Cascadas is very close to Manuel Antonio; it takes very little time to get to the National Park or to very nice restaurants and other places if you are able to drive. We were fortunate to be at Las Cascadas on the weekend, so we were able to walk down to the Quepos farmer's market in the morning and buy fresh eggs and vegetables from the super friendly local people! All in all, we loved our stay at Las Cascadas. I think our only regret was not being able to visit Cafe Milagro because it was closed. Las Cascadas is just beautiful, and we would absolutely stay there again without any hesitation!
