The Space

Cool place for people from around the world. come make yourself at home and relax in this nice house. The rooms are large and have a twin, queen or full size size bed and also have plenty of air mattress available so that this room can sleep up to 4 people easily. This is a Very laid back home. No shirt no pants no shoes no problem. This is a bachelor pad so there is a just guys room and just girls room available you would share room with same gender as many guests sleep nude or just in underwear.
smoking is allowed outside only. Many guests enjoy the nice private deck in backyard to have a cup of morning coffee or get some sun.

  • Good Adventure, highly recommended. You never know who you'll meet at one of Tim's hostels.

  • Easy to contact, may be a nice guy but we didn't meet him. The house is poorly renovated. It was overbooked, we had to share the bathroom and the common places with 6 or 7 people. Some people slept in the hallway.
The room was clean and as advertised but right next to the kitchen/dining room which was very noisy and enlightened all night long. The wall between our private room and the hallway was a curtain, so we did not have privacy and we were awaken several times through the night.
The ear plugs welcome pack was very useful though.
    The neighborhood wasn't very safe.

    Response from Tim:

I am always making improvements to the house, it's has lots of charm and there are 2 bathrooms the price was less than $40 a night for both of them and as bonus they got there own room at this special rate. the room has 4 walls and two doors to enter room the the set of French doors have Nice curtains over them. This is for travelers who want to meet other travelers and who are on a budget. I have lived in the neighborhood for over ten years and hosted many travelers it's safe quiet area close to downtown.

  • Tim was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and see as soon as we got there. The house itself was clean, trendy and comfy, especially for the price. Great patio space to chill in. The neighborhood is slightly questionable, but we didn't hang out there anyway. Really cute place.

  • We didn't stay in this room or house but in Tim's own house on Tift Ave. He offered it to us as it was closer to the train station so a bit more convenient. It was really lovely of Tim to be so flexible, and we had a fantastic stay in that house.

The bed was super cozy and the room had heaps of space. The kitchen was really well equipped and nice to cook in. Everyone in the neighbourhood is friendly and it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the MARTA station.

Tim is a friendly friendly and helpful host, he always had many suggestions if things to do, see and eat. We had a lovely time there.

  • Tim was a nice guy but I feel like his listings are a bit misleading..There were about 10 people staying in the house with one (email hidden)ey were all younger and very nice, but it was a much more bohemian situation than I was lead to believe..I needed to get up early and go to work, but the others were milling around and talking past 11:pm...The house is so aged and poorly renovated that there was no sound proofing..I had some great interaction with the fellow traveler but I could have booked a cheap hotel room for $ 12 more and not had the hassles.. I'm not a dainty traveler and have lived in some dodgy neighborhoods myself, but this just felt a bit misleading to me...

  • the room is great. i had few communication-problems getting to talk to Tim on the phone, but i guess that was more the problem of my cell-phone (and that there's only poor signal in the house)
you can get into town very easy by using a bus and then the MARTA. other guests were nice as well.

I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own bed and Breakfast. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost eleven years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about Air BNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have four properties close to downtown Atlanta two in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well (email hidden). I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, The house I live at on Tift Ave has a hot tub that's great for skinny dipping and also has 3 cats and a small dog you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
