  • Dolci Colline is a wonderful place to stay. We had over a week there and were able to really relax and enjoy Tuscany. The cabin is lovely and very well equipped. We really enjoyed the pool and bikes. Elena and Enrico are fantastic hosts and really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and a real experience. They brought us home cooked food and fresh eggs and were also happy to drive us to the village to get groceries and catch the train as we were without a car. We would highly recommend staying here!

Hello Marek thank you for your review, say hello to your lovely girl!

  • Wow! We just got back from a perfect vacation at Elena and Enrico's beautiful farm in Tuscany. The setting is so peaceful and luxurious! We stayed in the cottage for two people (Capannina) and it had everything we needed - including lovely "made it Italy" bath products. If you visit, be sure to take Enrico up on his offer to show you his olive groves and the mill where he presses the oil. It was a fascinating tour and glimpse into the process of agricultural Italy. We found it so interesting, in fact, that we purchased a 5 liter jug of his personal production.

We spent several lazy afternoons at the pool and even grilled our own meat one evening in the common area. There is a interior shared room with games and books that also has wifi, so if you need to stay connected while away, you definitely can.

The location of Dolci Collini is really great - you are just next to a sleepy Tuscan hill town, Castiglione Fiorentino, with a great local life, but also a 20 minute drive from the stunning (and touristy) Cortona. During our week-long stay, we enjoyed several days on the property but also took day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Cortona, Montepulciano, and Montalcino. We also enjoyed exploring Castiglione Fiorentino, which has a small but very well presented archaeological museum about the Etruscan temple ruins found in the village.

We really loved Dolci Collini and are already recommending it to our friends! It's a perfect destination for anyone who wants to enjoy the highlights of Tuscany but also wants an authentic experience away from the crowds.

Oliver Thanks for your review, it was a real pleasure to getting to know you. Say hello to your mother and your lovely girl.

  • We had a great time at Dolce Colline! The room was small but very cosy and private, since it is in a small separate "cottage". We had our own little kitchen inside and table and chairs outside for our breakfast. Elena's little daughter brought us fresh eggs one morning and we got a cake from Elena's mother in law one afternoon. Elena and her husband are very kind, chatty and helpful with all recommendations. The pool is lovely, with nice sun beds and plenty of space both in the sun and in the shade. They also have a nice terrace where you can have your dinner and they will heat up a barbeque for you. It is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. They have seven different kinds of accommodations and the place us very child friendly. We however stayed there two couples and had a great time. The place is a bit hard to find but with Elenas directions it is not a problem. There are interesting places near by if you have a car. We visited Siena, Cortona abd the small town Castiglion Florentine which is 5 minutes away with a very good and inexpensive restaurant right on the top by the castle. We would reccommend this accommodation to anyone traveling by car.

Hello Sara was a real pleasure to meet you! I immediately realized that I liked. I wonder if one day you will return even with the baby! <3

  • I don't believe that I have the perfect words to describe out stay at Dolci Colline. Elena and Enrico were just wonderful and such great hosts. The property is absolutely stunning with amazing views and a sense of peace. The pool is perfect and we felt like we were in a wonderland.
Elena and Enrico were so kind to pick us up at the train station as well as recommending great places to go to eat. They greeted us at the train station as if we were family members coming in to stay. So welcoming and friendly.
The property has everything you need. If you do not have a vehicle while there, they have mountain bikes to use if you need to go into town or if you're simply just looking to take an adventure :)
Our room was so quaint and special and we surely felt spoiled. There is something truly special about Dolci Colline and I would HIGHLY recommend this as a stay.

Thank you Elena and Enrico for your kind hearts and being such wonderful hosts.
