Nice, cosy and bright one bedroom apartment available to rent in the very heart of historical Dublin city centre. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the building, Christchurch and Dublinia are less than 5 minutes walk and it will take you about 10 minutes max to get to Temple Bar and City Hall. If you walk in the opposite direction, you will find yourselves in front of the Guinness Store House within 10 minutes. The apartment block itself is in a very quiet and secure development. As it is off the main street, you would not need to worry about the noise.
There are all the things you need in the apartment: from fresh bedlinen, towels and toiletries to cooking utensils (such as plates, bowls, knives and forks, glasses, a frying pan, a pot, and even a corkscrew!), so that you don’t have to depend on eating out each time. We also try to leave some basic food for you to have in the morning, like tea, nice ground coffee, some biscuits, cornflakes, milk and fruit, but in case you need something else, there is always a Spar shop just around the corner from the apartment. We also provide a washing liquid for the washing machine, so that you can do your washing during your stay.
There is a big flat screen TV if you would like to watch some Irish channels and free wifi internet available, as well. Unfortunately there is no IPod docking station there, but I left a stereo for you, as well as a big collection of various CDs/MP3s to listen to and relax.
The heating that we have is storage heating, which comes on at night and releases the heat throughout the day.
This apartment is perfect for a single person and a couple, however, there is an option of having a third guest sleep on the sofa bed, which can be converted into a sleeping place for the same price if you wish. However, do notify us in advance that you will have a 3rd person staying with you, as we will need to prepare extra bedding for them.
It would take roughly 50 mins to 1 hour to get to our apartment (depending on the transport and the traffic). There are direct buses to the airport running within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The 747 (6EUR single, 10 return) goes to and from Dame Street/ Christchurch. The 16A (2.75EUR single) goes from Georges Street. However, if you would prefer us to organise an airport pickup, we can do that for additional cost of 40EUR, which you need to pay in cash on the day of the pickup and let us know at least several days in advance about your flight details.
We like to know a bit about our guests before any bookings are confirmed, so please be willing to swap a couple of messages. Also, it is important that you notify us at least 2 days in advance about your flight details and if possible, text us once you land in the airport.
We ask you to provide a security deposit reserved via AirBnB before your arrival. Your deposit will be returned to you on your day of departure if everything is in order.
Our check out time is before 12 pm and a check in is after 3 pm to make sure we have enough time to prepare the apartment for the next guest. In any case, we will do our best to accommodate early check ins depending on whether there were guests staying the previous night or not.
It is sometimes possible to rent an apartment for less than 2 nights. Please send your inquiry with the dates that you need, and we will get back to you.
If you are happy with the apartment, please feel free to make the booking straightaway, as we have our calendar updated on a regular basis :-)
Finally, we will be happy to answer any of your questions, give you all the advice you need on places to see around Dublin, entertainment and tips on the best places to eat, to make sure you have a great stay. Bear in mind, that English is not the only language we speak, so you won't be lost in translation! :-)

We enjoyed our stay in Svetlana's apartment. It is well situated to explore all the sights in Dublin with no need for public transport. Convenience stores are nearby for emergency supplies.
Svetlana's brother in law met us and showed us through the apartment. The apartment has several flights of steps which didn't trouble us but may cause discomfort for some. There is a bit of road noise but once windows are closed it is OK.
Svetlana had several orchids, in flower, in the apartment. These really brightened up the apartment and made it a very welcoming environment. Thanks Svetlana.
We stayed at Svetlana's flat for two nights and found it was a very convenient location and a comfortable apartment. The neighbourhood is quite central and quiet, close to a nice playground at St Patrick's which our kid enjoyed.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Svetlana's apartment for a quick weekend visit and had a lovely time! Svetlana's brother came to let us in and show us around and was very nice and friendly. The apartment was clean and in a great location - just a short walk to Temple Bar which is where we spent most of our time. The neighborhood was a bit noisy at night and the bed was firmer than I would have liked, but other than that we had a great stay. Thank you!
I can not recommend Svetlana and her flat any higher than a 10 out of 10. We had quite a bit of trouble with canceled flights and a lost bag and Svetlana and her boyfriend could not have been more accommodating. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower are great and the bed is comfortable. We did not use the kitchen for cooking but it does have a kettle and microwave. The apartment is about a 10 minute easy walk to most of the pubs of Dublin.
My first airbnb experience -- key handoff couldn't have been easier, and the place was everything we needed it to be -- enough room for 3 people, clean, and a great location!
The apartment is very well located (only ten minutes’ walk to down town). Svetlana was very helpful, providing information in regard to restaurants and transport. Apart from having only one key to the apartment and that the security code for the main entrance was out of order, we enjoyed our stay in Dublin very much.
This place was very clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. The whole process was all very easy. Highly recommended!
Svetlana was quick to respond and clear with communication. The apartment was as it looks in the pictures, with the addition of a small view out the windows. It's on the 4th floor and overlooks the Tivoli Theater, which was a bit noisy one night they had an event, but if you look off to the side of the theater, you see some cool graffiti in a parking lot framed by two church spires (and a nice sunset, if you're lucky!).
The apartment was clean and in a great location. I didn't meet Svetlana myself, but was let in by a friend who was a little quiet, but clear. Luckily the neighbors were quiet as the walls are a bit thin.
Overall a great location, easy to walk to the major tourist spots without having to be in the middle of it all to sleep.
The apartment is in a great location in central Dublin, it has all the basics including good WIFI. the apartment is secure and private. Svetlana and Arte were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They kindly allowed us to use their private carpark which made our time in Dublin very easy.
Our host was very pleasant and responsive. The apartment was lovely and very well located. Our only problem was with the WI Fi...it did not work consistently.
Overall I would recommend Svetlana's apartment if you are planning a trip to Dublin.
