As of 1 January 2014, the federal state of Berlin collects a hotel occupancy tax on all overnight stays in hotels in Berlin. A “hotel” includes any type of short-term, paid accommodation, and the tax is due whether or not the hotel guest actually spends the night in the room.
Therefore, an extra 5% will be charged (and paid in cash upon arrival) to pay this tax.

Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep your noise down at all times, especially in the evening after 22.00.
Please, take off your shoes all the time while you are at home.
Please, leave the apartment clean and tidy.

I try to be as flexible as I can and, if I can't guarantee a late check-out, I always offer the possibility to store your bags inside the apartment or the cellar until your departure.
Maria's apartment was a great fit for our stay in Berlin. It was close to several different forms public transportation, which made getting around the city easy. It could be a little noisy at times, especially in the morning, due to the windows facing the building's courtyard.
Maria is a perfect host. Reservation was no problem, she was right in time for the key and the instructions for the appartment.
The appartment was clean, the bed was good, quiet atmosphere
We had a great stay there and we are going back there when we are in Berlin. Thanks for everything !
Maria was a great host! She was very organized and detailed about arrival arrangements and the apartment was clean and ready for us when we got there. The apartment is right next to the subway station which can take you into the city center, and other locations. Great stay!
The apartment was clean and quiet. The location is close to transportation and lots of restaurants and cafes. Maria was responsive via email.
The apartment is great and had all amenities that we needed.
The neighborhood has restaurants, bars, markets and parks, and easy access to subways and trams.
Maria was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Her apartment is nicely located in the suburb of Prenzlauer Berg and offers easy access to public transport (tram & train). The apartment itself is clean and comfortable and provides everything you need for a hassle-free stay in Berlin.
