The space
*Indoor space*
Southern Comfort is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom stay that comfortably sleeps 7 guests. It is perfect for families or friends seeking a tranquil or adventure-focused retreat.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed as well as a day bed in a loft-style space, the second bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. All of the beds have high-quality linens on them as well as Zinus foam mattresses.

The first floor bathroom is equipped with a shower and the second floor bathroom has a whirlpool tub and shower. All linens and toiletries are provided.

Enjoy the abundance of natural light that pours into the cabin, beautifully highlighting the wood interior and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living space features comfortable seating around the indoor fireplace, ideal for lounging after a day of adventures, and a TV for cozy movie nights. We’ve provided complimentary access to Netflix, Fubo, and Disney+.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to make a delicious meal (bakeware, pizza pan, rolling pin, blender, crockpot, and all of the essentials of course). We’ve included a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, drip coffee maker, and French press, as well as coffee syrups, sweetener, and non-dairy creamer. There are also green tea and hot chocolate mixes provided!

There's a designated workspace/office area ideal for those wanting to be productive during their stay. For guests seeking relaxation, we've also provided a yoga mat and hand weights.

*Outdoor space*
Step outside and immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty of rolling hills and dense woods that surround our cabin. There’s lots to do outside of the cabin as well!

Fire up the 28-inch Blackstone griddle and charcoal grill and enjoy a feast outside at the dining area, ready for shared meals and memorable conversations.

Soak in the hot tub under the starry sky, or swing in the hammock beneath the trees.

Spend the evening around the crackling fire pit, roasting marshmallows, or challenge friends to a lively game of cornhole on the deck.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire cabin. Easily access the cabin at check-in time with convenient self check-in.

Limited parking 3 vehicles max. The cabin is located on the highest point of a partially paved road. A 4-wheel-drive vehicle is mandatory in bad weather. Due to the steep slope of the driveway, trailers are not allowed.

Other things to note
Please read our house rules before booking!

We do not accommodate pets, unless they are service animals. If you have a service animal, please contact the owner, so we discuss your needs and we can notify the cleaners.

There is a stairless entry available at the stay (ramp).

This stay is family-friendly. We’ve included a Pack n Play, highchair, booster chair, games, etc. to help make the cabin ready to host little ones!

Plenty of cleaning supplies are stocked at the cabin, as well as laundry detergent for the washing machine, and a steamer/iron/ironing board.

Our property isn't able to accommodate motorcycles or trailers as the road and driveway are very steep.

Please BRING YOUR OWN firewood. It can be purchased at all gas stations in Stanton KY and there is also a self-serve self-pay firewood shack in the cabin complex --drive straight into the cabin complex, and it is located past the first cabin and beyond the dumpsters.

I focus on creating warm, cosy experiences for my guests. Stays at my places should bring out the simple joys of life. There is always time to pause and re-connect with oneself and one's loved ones. Guests should feel cherished and I want them to know that we take good care of our places. Personally, I love to travel and be immersed in different cultures.
